Im sitting here with a morning cup of coffee looking out the two large windows in my main living space looking into the wooded area that blankets Jaguar Plaza If you want to enjoy a serene Louisiana morning with sunlight hitting the grass through the trees then Jaguar Plaza may be your first optionJaguar Plaza should be voted one of the best deals in Baton RougennI just signed my second lease here and Im very happy with my apartment which is nothing short of swanky At first I wasnt sure how to organize the main living area which is a combination kitchenliving roomdining roomlaundry room but the space is large enough for any creativity and the new appliances melt in the background against contemporary furnishings When the new management took over last year under Tammy Trusclair the building got a lot cleaner and more efficient for minor repairs in apartments not to mention the management mantra of going above and beyondnnIf youre about amenities this building has a fitness center and a pool and across the street community members can join the gym and pool at Southern University for a reasonable fee Not to mention Jaguar Plaza is practically front row seats at the stadium across the street and its also near the restaurants and other services on Harding and Scenic including Empire Wings Closest to the building is Subway printing services and a credit unionduring the semester the Student Union has ChickfilA and Burger King just across the street Swan Street offers some good local eats There is a 24hour security officer and it is a gated communitynnAnybody familiar with Jaguar Plaza before is always astonished when they see the new floor plans from the redesign several years ago and the building keeps on getting better and betternnRight near the airport and the old bridge some assert that shopping is far but theres plenty of shopping available on Plank Road a weekly Farmers Market on 72nd at the YMCA and a Walmart Supercenter is only 5 miles away Not to mention its a tenminute ride to downtown and Mid City if you want to enjoy the best of Baton Rouge thats set aside from those noisy busy areas I highly recommend Jaguar Plaza more ... hide ...

Open only 2 days a week and when you call them the voice mail comes on and the landlord does not give you and opinion to leave a voicemail Now as far from what I seen the Tenets keep their yards clean and manageable However I guess all the homes are rented out and the landlord does not have the common courtesy to let others know there is nothing for rent Oh 2022-10-27T17:50:51Z

I saw this place its really nice However this was my first experience with income based apartments and a process I would like to never experience again The information and process was very invasive I was asked to pay a deposit of 400 at the time I did the application I was told that I probably made to much money but she would let her manager and the company that reviews the application make the decision The process was supposed to take between 5 to 7 days It took a lot longer and I could never get in touch with anyone I called the office atleast 15 times in a day and no one ever answered the phone and I left messages that were never returned After contacting the company that oversaw the construction of the complex I finally received a call back which from the conversation made it sound as if the paper work was never submitted to whomever it was supposed to be I was finally told that I did indeed make too much money and I would not be getting the apartment I asked when would I get my deposit back I was told that it would have to come from New Orleans and I couldnt be given an actually time frame it could possibly take two weeks I live in Baton Rouge I shouldnt have to go through the ringer to get my money back for an apartment I cannot rent Its been a week and two days I have called at least three times a day for the past week and I have not gotten an answer not one time and I have left several messages and still no return calls and its beyond frustrating that I have to go through all of this to get my money back more ... hide ...

ProsnI love these apartments They were really nice and very spacious All appliances are included even a washer and dryer The complex was pretty quiet The apartment manager Danielle was extremely nice and was very helpful When appliances needed to be fixed i never had to wait at allnCons i lived on the third floornOverall my stay here was great

Apartments are nice but they are slowly but surely falling apart Pest control included in rent but no one comes on a regular basis The stairways and sidewalks are filthy could use a pressure wash Im not sure what management is doing but they are definitely not delegating duties to see that the apartments are maintained Also loud neighbors and sometimes peopl 2020-04-06T03:12:55Z
