Do not rent from The Pillars Apartment Management they also go by Mystic Properties My building I was living in sold to them in April 2021 They provided us new leases to review the end of May and changed a lot of the terms from what the previous owner had and increased the rent so I gave my notice to move out I have been moved out over 30 days now and still 2021-07-07T03:21:28Z

The people who run this place suck They will not do anything about much of any of the problems that occur especially with out proof They close the office early so if you dont pay rent before the 5th you are basically out of luck and will get fined for being late which doesnt help if you dont get paid till the 5th They sit in the office and just tell you sorry nothing I can do about that when you go to complain about anything Which there is a lot to complain about since most people here dont do what they are supposed to like watch there children when the kids are out playing so all the kids think they can do basically anything that they want because no one is out watching them So in turn it falls on you to go tell the kids to stop what they are doing all cause they parents wont do what they are supposed to do and the people in the office wont do a damn thing either Also they have a laundry area but the machines break down a lot or dont work properly and most of the time they dont get them fixed in a timely manor but they do tell you when you move in that you use the washers and dryers at your own risk but they also only let you do laundry if you have a special card that you have to put money on when ever you need it Only thing is the machine that you use to put the money on the card is in the office area so you have to put money on it Monday through Friday before they close the office which they tend to do an hour to half an hour earlier then they are supposed to They also have a pool but its cold pretty much all year long even in summer It is also not very clean 90 of the time and if it rains they close it so they can get the pH balance back the way it should be instead of having a proper filtration system and what not that does all that and it takes at least 3 days if not longer most of the time for them to do that They might be pretty ok apartments you would think but also the floors and walls are super thin where you can even hear the people below above or next door to you when they are talking a lot of the time and when the people above you go to vacuum thats loud as can be a lot of the time All and all they arent the greatest place in the world but they arent the worse place as long as you can just deal with everything and they are pet friendly They even have people with a Rottweiler leaving here even tho they state on the lease that thats one breed thats not ok to have here Ok back to some of the other issues Now they say in the lease if you dont pick up after your dog they will fine you 25 but that doesnt stop people from not picking up after your dog cause again the office needs proof and doesnt know who isnt picking up after their dog It also states all dogs are to be on a leash at all times when you take them out side even just to the car but yet a lot of people dont even put there dogs on leashes what so ever Another thing parents have there little kids go walk the dogs with out supervising them and most of the time the kids cant hold on to said dogs nor do the kids clean up after the dogs at all Maybe by writing this review who ever in in charge of the people in the office will see it and realize that the people in the office dont do there job like they are supposed to more ... hide ...

First off these apartments are nowhere near downtown Prescott Secondly after initially being told there was one person ahead of us for an apartment I assumed I was on a waiting list but was later told to save this number because if I call and you dont answer I will give it to the next person There is no actual list just whoever answers Being in need of an apartment asap I saved the number and waited Nothing After 4 months of waiting paying for the application fee and putting down a holding deposit supposedly to move me to the top of the list for an apartment I had never heard anything It happens that I work closely with families of students at Embry Riddle and found from many parents that these apartments are contracted with the school No wonder I have been waiting they want to cater to students I will say that my 100 holding fee was returned quickly but the negative impact on my credit score is there for 2 years and nothing I can do about it This is a racket not an honest business Shame on these people for taking money from hopeful local people with no intention of ever renting to them more ... hide ...
