Unlike Mr Negativity Cliff L we found Villa Escondido 511 E Grand in Escondido CA not San Diego or on Juniper which Cliff L might be reviewing in error a very clean well maintained and welllocated lowincome housing project We applied for residence there about a year ago and were put on a waiting list at 70 as I recall We were about to give up on finding a 1BR affordable unit that met our standards as our oneyear lease was about to expire at the end of March 18 We were called a few days ago with the offer and put down a refundable deposit and a 40 per person creditbackground check We are patiently awaiting word of our approval and are looking forward to saving a lot of money on our rent and utilities as well Rent is the only payment we will have with the exception of cable TV Internet and phone which will run about 140 permonth the rental agents are quite nice and informative people but be prepared for lots of government required paperworknIll update this review depending on our approval and a few months of residence there to let you know how its going Thanks for looking
