It was a pleasurable experience for the time it existed I moved into my apartment at Chai House 2 toward the end of 2017 and as of July 1 2021 it has been taken by a new owner Its now called Redwood Seniors Im not exactly sure why people after some specific age suddenly become silver or gold and even platinum but redwood is a new one for menThe redwood most likely refers to the beautiful sequoia trees all around the complex They provide wonderful shade for the gardens in back and make this place very comfortablenDuring the Chai House Era a meal program existed serving dinner five nights a week The new owners will not continue this feature anymore after July 1 2021 The dining every evening was a pleasant experience most of the time because it gave many seniors an opportunity to have social contact and sometimes the only human contact they would have all day Many complained about the dining program because they didnt want to pay the additional costs Its now become a mute pointnThe future is now called Redwood Seniors as Chai House and the dinner program closures have marked the end of an era whose end was plagued with Coronavirus SARs2 The illness took its share of victims including someone who served our food every eveningnIll have to amend my evaluation after my experience grows under the new management more ... hide ...

Just wanted to report that theres shady individuals outside here please watch out when walking alone not sure if they live here or not but someone was being sketchy and recording me on their phone walking by and Im glad I had someone waiting in a car nearby otherwise who knows what that person was planning in the middle of the day Rating 4 to not let the apa 2021-08-18T20:20:49Z

Management is bad the atmosphere in the building is very unfriendly Maintenance is the worst maintanence when rent is paid they dont do very good keeping they lost 2 checks and ask to stop a payment and if you dont do it they make you responsible for the rent yes they expect you to pay again so if your check get cash later on you will be the losser they wont 2022-05-24T06:05:32Z

I was on the waiting list for 7 years two to three years ago it was renovated remodeled this place is beautiful the modern and clean the people there are great air conditioning and heating are provided at no extra cost either is water or garbage Ive been here since February of 2018 Im so glad I got this place

It is a great support for the woman and the family they are not people working they are sensitive beings with human warmth who put themselves in your place and have the strength you need to get ahead Thank you
