Today as I was sitting in my apartment I hear a bunch of people with radios in the hallway I go and look through my doors peep hole and see a massive fire hose being dragged through the hallway I begin to panic as no fire alarms had gone off and I am unsure if I need to evacuate I go into the hallway and ask a fireman what is going on and if I need to leave

I lived at Forest Manor Apartments for two years I recently moved out I wish I had something positive to say about the living experience and if I had to draw up one point of positivity it would be the location Access to Four Mile Historic Park and the Cherry Creek Trail was wonderful to have as were the amenities nearby But that is about it I know that living in low income housing one has to expect many cons But Ive known someone that has lived in low income housing in which I also was a visitor and it was nothing like Forest Manor Low income doesnt necessarily have to be a poor housing choice in appearance or community I feel that Pacificap property management doesnt care about their properties or their residents They seem to only be interested in a tax writeoff Among the many issues with this apartment community are the bugs Not only was there a constant cockroach infestation but there were carpet beetles and bedbugs It was a losing battle in trying to conquer these infestations as my neighbors never tried to control their bug populations The fire alarms are not up to code and would constantly go off on not only the third floor hallway but the second and first You would think on inspection day they would notice an issue of this importancenope They only care if the fire alarms in your unit are up to code That always surprised me And my third biggest complaint are the children It was a constant battle to have a quiet community Children always seem to be left unattended there was an endless amount of screaming and crying children like a musical that plays 247 There was absolutely no sense of peace ever If it wasnt unattended children using the hallways as their playground it was neighbors and their loud music or video games The Glendale police were there almost daily The leasing office has a high turnover The leasing officer never knew whom I was when I called Paperwork was always in disarray and I was also confused to as why one of the leasing officers had her children filing away resident paperwork It was a terrible place to live and I wish my circumstances had been different when I first arrived in Denver so that I could have had a better place to call home I really am in sincere in saying this I hope that this place gets bulldozed This is no place for children to grow up It is no place for anyone to call home
