I will admit my friend whom is at the facility has said the place is extremely clean and it looks like and feels like a hotel However and this is a big However The food is terrible At one time the food was great However the chef was fired Since he left the food has gone down hill The chicken is dry the meals are uneatable for instance one day they had corn beef and they werent able to cut it with a knife When the residents complained they were told over and over we are working on it I even called the director and spoke with her several months ago and still no improvement in the meals I feel extremely frustrated because there is not much I can do Its not like the resident can go to another location to eat For many of these people the only thing they have to look forward to is having a nice meal Unfortunately this is not the case at Libby Bortz Assisted Living Here is an example of their choices Cheese Enchiladas with Spanish Rice and Refried Beans or Italian Seasoned Pork with Rice Pilaf and Snap Peas It may sound good but the taste has a lot to be desired My hope in writing this review is that someone there will listen and start improving the quality of food more ... hide ...
