Renters beware This place is an absolute joke We moved in having to pay 2691 a month No issues we understand the market One week in our garbage disposal quit washer did not work dryer vent never installed and the dishwasher was never secured properly without it falling out of the cabinet Easy enough completed the required work orders and stood by for the repairs The washer was not acknowledged by maintenance for 2 weeks after the request They threw a cheap bandaid on it the problem returned the next day An additional request and week later they then returned finally replaced the washer with a neighboring units washer after a month The disposal was never fixed Im not even a month in this unit yet then they reduced new tenants rent to 2000 a month I requested to see if we could work something out considering the drastic reduction in less than 30 days Nope easy day I then decided if they are going to require these prices Ill hold you to that standard Well they fell short extremely short We discovered mold and discoloring in the baseboards along with damp carpet in the corner of the spare closet Made the maintenance notifications as necessary They come the AC condensation line was never properly hooked up So it leaked within the wall for God knows how long Air purifiers and fans were in place for a week Maintenance never followed up so I requested what to do with the fans I was instructed to place them outside for retrieval They never conducted a moisture test or anything following this issue Shortly after mold and fungustype growth began coming back through the baseboards once again Due to River Reach management and maintenances complete incompetency and inability to successfully run a community which charges luxury living prices my family and I decided to look into moving We notified the management office of the concerns once again and our intentions These people are are just warm bodies in a building collecting a paycheck Maintenance came to assess the concerns and took moisture readings Per the maintenance guys words these levels are high Coupled with the growth it is not safe to occupy I paid rent up to May 1 through the back and forth communication management changed my locks before my keys were turned over and my move out date I was never notified of this nor did I state I vacated the property yet This place will not uphold their lease contract unless it benefits them the bodies in the office are useless and home office is out of touch with how their community is being run They are withholding my security deposit of 1000 and saying I have an additional fee of 456227 The dates on this bill are inaccurate as well Im not one of those Karens who moved here my family and I are from Naples were easy and go with the flow However this place has proven its crooked lazy and could careless about their communities needs Its all about filling these units with lies and pillows To date we have attempted to correspond with their home office through email phone calls and a text line all met with no response Although I have the documentation dates pictures and videos of the aforementioned Ill still be hit with the fee and held responsible I hope this prevents further victims of this place luck to those who disregard this itll come to fruition soon enough

Not sure what the bad reviews of about this place are for First of all this is Golden Gate not the grand villas on Gulf Shore Blvd or any of the quarter million dollar HOA communities in the area Expectations should be lowered unless youre willing to pay 4 times the rent of Oaks at Naples There arent any security gates that require passwords or secret handsh

Not sure what the bad reviews of about this place are for First of all this is Golden Gate not the grand villas on Gulf Shore Blvd or any of the quarter million dollar HOA communities in the area Expectations should be lowered unless youre willing to pay 4 times the rent of Oaks at Naples There arent any security gates that require passwords or secret handshakes with guards in a little toll booth There isnt any valet parking in a temperature controlled parking garage And there sure isnt a towel boy standing by the pool waiting to hand you a 900 count Egyptian cotton towel that was steamed to a perfect 120 degrees using natural spring water to eliminate the impurities of cheap beach towelsnnThe Oaks at Naples is a surprisingly affordable apartment complex in the midst of several upgrades In the 2 weeks that Ive been here the lighting in the hallways have been updated to LEDs instead of dingy flickering tubes It was obvious the next day as to the difference in the halls Security locks have been installed in all the doors and each outer door has a camera to added protection Being on the edge of Green Blvd and Collier helps with visibility instead of being tucked back into the trees in a secluded area like the other complexes down the road Ive seen some of those complexes they must have a lenient pet policy because of all the turkey vultures gathered by the overflowing dumpsters in their dark parking lotsKeeps the rats away I guess The lighting in this parking lot is quite bright at night so I feel my vehicle is as safe as could be for the area and I havent seen any overflowing regular or recycling receptacles or turkey vultures Frogs yes but not vulturesnnAs for the size of this one bedroom apartment that was the ultimate selling point for the money Anything in Fort Myers in the same range or higher is at least 2540 smaller This is by far one of the larger one bedrooms Ive ever rented The bathroom is a little on the small side but its a room for doing your business not entertainingnnIt is a little dated the cabinets would use some retooling but the marble countertops are nice Mine even had a brand new refrigerator and dishwasher No more wondering what the mystery stain is in the freezer or wondering why the dish rack are rusted out Tile floor throughout is easy to clean No problems with the two patio slider doors either although they are the only source for windows in the apartment Not a complaintnnAs for Angie well I dont hold it against her that shes from the upper Midwest So am I I found her quick to respond to my emails prior to signing a lease and answered all of my questions thoroughly She kept in touch as I made my move to Florida to let me know the status of my lease approvals even letting me know ahead of time about a potential issue with my first choice of residence By the time I arrived everything was taken care of She is quite knowledgeable and professional but also very friendly thats the midwest thing I know nothing of the actual property company that she works for but she represents it well All paperwork was easy to understand including information regarding the online portal for maintenance and bill payment Even after moving in texts from the office regarding change of hours maintenance etc are timely and to the point Its a good way to keep in touch with the residentsnnMaintenance is quite visible Each morning I see him canvassing the grounds for rubbish and obstructions A casual conversation with him in the parking lot over a trivial maintenance issue was completed promptly and politely again with prework and post work phone calls to let me know the progress of the issue and to check on my satisfaction He is also hard at work rehabbing the vacant apartments for new tenants He is just as polite and upbeat as AngiennNot sure if the trees are oaks but Ill let that slide
