Where do I start When I had initially moved in to Aventura Harbor Apt I was thrilled with the amenities and community but that was soon brought to an end after living there for about a month I started noticing a weird smell in my apartment that other friends immediately pointed out smells like moldnnThat was the tip of the iceberg Soon I started to see items in my kitchen and closet covered with mold I reported it to the complex and had a maintenance visit in which I was gaslit and told it was dirt They then painted over the mold spots I had shown themnnWhen I continued to press the issue threatening legal action they then had another separate inspection where I was gaslit again being told it was dirt and Florida humidity causes mold Ive lived in Florida my whole life so it was offense to be told it was just HUMIDITY They then stated they would clean the vents but in the email they sent for maintenance approval it had stated they were doing mold treatment The FIRST time it was acknowledged was via email Just to have the maintenance crew show up with more paint and gaslight me once againnnIve asked multiple times to either have my lease broken or to hire my own inspector to make sure the conditions are livable but the complex refuses Forcing me into either paying 2 months rent to leave or live in these conditions Im positing this to prevent other people from having to deal with this These are not livable conditions and Aventura Harbour needs to accept accountability and FIX THESE ISSUES THE CORRECT WAY
