Edited a few days after I left this review they had someone power washing all the hallways and stairs They have been great at listening to concernsnnWe have a great experience with the office and maintenance but the property itself is kinda gross The hallways and stairs are almost always sticky The pool area has been gross recently as well

Its been problem after problem We were told we couldnt view our specific apartment before move in because of renovations We said okay I guess well have to trust them First day moving in appliances were being installed as we were walking through the door Didnt have working AC until the next day One of the bathroom lights was broken Holes in the wall left exposed from newer light fixtures We didnt even have outlet covers in 90 of the apartment Oh and the AC vents were disgustingnnThe biggest problem though was a huge gap between the middle kitchen counter where the sink is and the wall it was supposed to be flush with Dont know how that happened but it took a month or two to finally fixnnAnother month into our lease we find out we were supposed to have a newer dishwasher Took a week or two to finally get that installed Try to use it the next day wasnt installed properlynnFurther into our first year my car gets keyed Wasnt sure if it was at the apartment complex so I let it go A month later it gets keyed again in the same spot and then I was positive it was from someone in the complex I have no clue why someone would do that as we didnt interact with any of our neighbors so I knew it was malicious I was significantly upset A week or two later I tell the office about it and didnt get any sort of reassurance about security or anything just a nodnnThroughout these issues another one was always growing Trash Its the first thing you see when you drive into the complex I do acknowledge that it is equally the tenants faults for not knowing how to properly dispose and differentiate between recycling material and real trash I feel bad for the complex workers that have to clean up afternnAnyway the cleanliness standard is not properly enforced in the individual buildings The floor under us constantly smells terrible because of the stacking bags of disgusting trash outside their doors There is more and more every day and nothing is done about it Theres been definitely more issues but Ill keep it at thatnnI do want to say that the staff are pleasant and seem sympathetic but the execution is just not there I appreciate their time and effort but theres just been so many things that have made our experience here very unpleasant By the time an issue is fixed youll have decided to end your lease ASAP more ... hide ...

i wouldnt recommend staying at any complex that mckinley hyde park owns would rate the whole company or managementmaintenance teams with 0 stars if possible ive been living at westshore flats ii for almost a year and anytime ive submitted a maintenance request it takes them two plus weeks to come and solve the issue this last one for example even though it 2022-04-23T02:49:26Z
i wouldnt recommend staying at any complex that mckinley hyde park owns would rate the whole company or managementmaintenance teams with 0 stars if possible ive been living at westshore flats ii for almost a year and anytime ive submitted a maintenance request it takes them two plus weeks to come and solve the issue this last one for example even though it still hasnt gotten fixed was for my closet shelves that broke and fell on the floor maintenance request was submitted on 19FEB22 and was closed out a whole month later but marked complete in the system with a date of 21FEB22 not only until i left a comment on the work order did management reach out to me about this problem and told me they have tried to get into my apartment on 3 different occasions but were unable to access my unit but never told me that until i said something so i scheduled an appointment for 21APR22 for them to fix this issue and nobody showed to fix this issue even with a scheduled appointment i even took off of work early to be there since they dont have a copy of my key which i dont know how when its the same locks from when i moved in and theyve come in before when i wasnt home this is unacceptable for the management and the maintenance teams to be doing this i dont understand why any of us in these communities are paying all this rent to have this terrible service not to mention them sending out rent reminders almost every other day for the first week of the month because they want to get paid but cant even fix our little issues to have us living in what should feel like a home more ... hide ...
