I do not recommend living here Here is my experience with the Falls over the course of my 12 month leasennFor starters when you call and speak to someone the next time they call or you call that person doesnt work there anymore and they have no record of what issue you talked about with the previous person Secondly maintenance is a mess Our AC has been broke

I do not recommend living here Here is my experience with the Falls over the course of my 12 month leasennFor starters when you call and speak to someone the next time they call or you call that person doesnt work there anymore and they have no record of what issue you talked about with the previous person Secondly maintenance is a mess Our AC has been broken for over 3 months and each time they come in to fix it they just put in a new filter that was already new and cleaned we frequently replace our own in addition to theirs Then the maintenance people have the audacity to tell you 86 inside a home is normal and perfect Third the people in the office are often snappy and hostile when there is an issue Im sure they have plenty of problems but they often refuse to give any information that may help your situation and talk back to the people who call Next and worst of allroaches Our apartment was clean and kept up with swept vacuumed and swiffered weekly and roaches come out of the outlets out of drains cracks in the walls and most frequently out of baseboards along the base of walls They stopped offering exterminating services a while ago and no amount of traps or spray has been able to mitigate the extensive infestation We cannot sit and watch tv or cook food without them coming out and crawling over our feet or countertops every 10 secondsnnMy unit was 8514 Island Breeze unit 202do NOT move into that one I can almost guarantee little to nothing will be done to remove the pest problem Best of luck

DO NOT LIVE HERE This is the absolute trashiest place I have ever lived Our unit was not movein ready broken deadbolt giant hole in the tub chewed gum on the floor broken doors no working smoke detectors broken windowpatio screens I could literally write a book of the things broken here Six months later and less than half of it is fixed Took work off multipl

Since I last wrote this review the management company offered to refund most of the money they had imposed on my security deposit and I accepted their offer I only settled because this had become too time consuming They still kept a small amount but thats not enough to go to court for Im glad I disagreed with them taking my security deposit and didnt let them get away with keeping all of my moneynnLesson here is to fight for what is right Do not let people get away with taking something from you if you know without a doubt you did the right thingnnI moved out on 53118 When I gave my notice to move 60days prior they gave me a move out sheet to follow To be sure I get my full security deposit back I followed all the steps on the sheet I thoroughly cleaned the apartment and storage room and made a video of the entire apartment showing how clean I left itnnI found out today they deducted 156 from the deposit The manager said there was 2 pieces of hair on the shower wall a tiny minuscule spot on the dryer a grease stain underneath the microwave and the carpet was not cleaned Oh and the burners on the stove were not clean Mind you the moveout instruction sheet DOES NOT mention anything about burners on the stove DOES NOT say underneath the bottom of the microwave on the outside where the grease screen and surface light is located needs to he spotless And there SHOULD NOT BE a strand of hair left anywhere The tiny spot on the dryer was from one of those Raid glue ribbons to catch flying insects I had to keep hanging those up because the entire apartment community is infested with knats and termitesnnThe carpet had stains on it when I movedin and I notated that on the movein Inspection sheet A week after I movedin in 2016 I told the manager my carpet was dirty and I missed notating other spots on the inspection sheet At the end of the first year I asked the manager if they would clean the carpet for renewing my lease She said no they dont do that So I ended up cleaning the carpet myself The carpet is so old that any spot hidden in the padding bleed thru and made spots in some areas look worse than before I cleaned itnnThree days before I moved out I cleaned the carpet again with my own carpet cleaning equipment Im part owner of a cleaning company and showed them my business registration with the state of Florida I told them my cleaning crew said the carpet is very old and needs to be replaced The stains didnt come out again And when I asked the manager when was the last time the carpet was replaced she said she didnt knownnThe maintenance supervisor for Nantucket Bay Apartments is the cleaning company and he determins what is not cleaned and how much to charge That is a complete SCAM Of course he makes up things to charge like a stran of hair on the shower wall or a spot on the dryer REALLY Im disputing all the charges and plan to settle the matter in court if necessarynnNantucket Bay Apartments is community for seniors 55 and the majority of the residents are well over 55 yrs old who probably dont question moveout charges and probably dont get any of their security deposit back at all If the maintenance supervisor is the cleaning company I wonder how many people has he scammed with fake cleaning fees
