This is the most wonderful place I cannot say enough good things My mother has been living here for almost five months now She has reconnected with friends and met so many new friends The food is outstanding But what makes Talmage Terrace and Lanier Gardens so unique is the staffnnIt wasnt that easy a transition for my mother to move from her house of 43 years There were some hurdles during the transition Every time I have reached out to a staff member from any department they never made me feel like I was disrupting their routine and would rally to help my mother in any and every situationnnThere is security 247 which I have to called even in the middle of the night What amazes me the most is the staff is so courteous and helpful no matter when I callnnIt has been a major blessing to have mom somewhere I know she is safe and around such positive nurturing people especially since I live four hours awaynnKUDOS to the staff at Lanier Gardens and Talmage Terrace in Athens Georgiann1 Adult Community in my opinion more ... hide ...

Worst place to live and raise your kids What is the point of having business hours if you are going to keep the answering services on all day I can understand during lunch hours but not the entire day

First we could not have pets but there are dogs cats and they are not good for people with allergies and they sometimes urinate before they get outside Another thing is that the elevators stop working and we have to climb up and down stairs and it is too hard for some of us to do so The electronic doors stop working especially after a thunderstorm We were to 2017-07-23T08:20:47Z
First we could not have pets but there are dogs cats and they are not good for people with allergies and they sometimes urinate before they get outside Another thing is that the elevators stop working and we have to climb up and down stairs and it is too hard for some of us to do so The electronic doors stop working especially after a thunderstorm We were told that it is an active community but there are people in here that needs to be in an assistant living community Its so depressing to see people who have so much difficulty trying to get around Its not sound proof and the noise is so irritating Then another thing is that we are talked to like children and the rent is too much for seniors Plus there are some very strange people that cause a lot of division and nothing is done about it I t is new but built very cheap and there are not enough elevators It should be a heavy duty for the moving in and out and another for regular passage I hate to say what I have but its the truth God knows I dont like being negative but I have become so depressed living here more ... hide ...

Do not move here The maintance is non existant and the management is incompetent My air has been out for a month my replace filter light in my fridge has been on a month the light where I come in has been out 6 months As have the lights on the north side of the building the elevator works when it feels like it I put in a request for special accomadation 6 2015-12-23T02:44:53Z

House literally flooded no answered the EMERGENCY NUMBER destroyed just about everything in the walls and house Dont ever come here unless you want to experience what hell is like We never get help from our landlord or nothing People out here would rob you if you ever give them the chance Ive lived here over 13 years Please this is a warning DO NOT MOVE HERE
