I know someone who has the voucher and been looking for a home for over six months and couldnt find anything literally that was worth her time She has three children and shes a single parent she recently had found something in Zion off of Lewis but the lady told her everything would be new and it absolutely wasnt the place was infested with roaches the lady told her she shouldnt have came at night they wouldnt have came out she called whoevers ahead and Housing they act like they were surprised and they couldnt believe it so The guy said he would give her 30 more days she just found something in Fox Lake now theyre saying her voucher has expired so now This lady and her 3 daughters will be homeless even longer I started crying because I feel so bad for her she literally just found a nice beautiful spot now theyre changing their story on her I told her I think she should probably see a lawyer My thing is you cant force anybody to live in a infestation with bugs who carry disease and she absolutely had just found a house in fact she gave the down payment to the house with the roaches the lady is telling her shes going to keep 500 of her 2000 deposit because he doesnt want to move in so my opinion on Clay County housing they are corrupt theyre not for the people as they should be in there heartless and inconsiderate God Bless more ... hide ...

Where to begin we placed my mom in anthology in September 2020 At the time we were in a crisis situation and needed to find a safe place that would provide Alzheimers dementia care This was the only place that would allow me to come in to see in person the rooms and where she would be living We were told that there was a comprehensive Alzheimersdementia program with specific memory care activities and staff Needless to say this was a complete bait and switch Since placing my Mom there there has been massive and frequent staff turnover Absolutely zero communication and no information about what is happening and what my Mom is doing on a daily basis When they went into complete Covid lockdown in October things got even worse Unreturned calls missed appointments for visits and FaceTime meetings The administrator was irritated and dismissive when I tried to talk to her When we were finally able to get in to the memory care floor in February it was shocking The place looked like a ghost town empty rooms zero activity or engagement of the residents The only staff were basically 2 caretechs that had to serve the food empty the garbage and probably toilet the residents Nothing but the basics The activity director was working as a CNA and all the activity supplies are only accessible during the week My Mom has declined so much in the past 7 months and I wonder if it wasnt due to the lack of interaction or stimulation Stay away from this place if you want your loved one to be treated with dignity this is custodial care at the minimum and neglect is probably a better way to describe the situation needless to say we moved my Mom out as soon as we were able more ... hide ...

Humble enough to know Im not better than anyone else Smart enough to know Im not different than anyone Wouldnt give us the time of day I was told no one has moved in 14 years They must have the fountain of youth Truly disappointing
