My overall experience with duPage County Housing Authority and living in DuPage County is not too bad but not ok First of all there are barely any locations that you can get into housing with if you dont have three times the rent and credit score over 650 Credit score is acceptable as wherever you go will require a pretty good score but three times the rent 2022-06-29T04:05:53Z
My overall experience with duPage County Housing Authority and living in DuPage County is not too bad but not ok First of all there are barely any locations that you can get into housing with if you dont have three times the rent and credit score over 650 Credit score is acceptable as wherever you go will require a pretty good score but three times the rent and having to go through a Housing Authority is almost impossible If you are on a voucher start looking immediately when you know you are on the list because youll get passed up if you dont find anything before your deadline you have to stay in Dupage county now for 1 year before porting out It is very very hard finding housing that is nice and affordable in DuPage County Not all this is my experience but also experience from people whom is on the voucher program If you have any helpful comments please share more ... hide ...

PROSn gorgeous hardwood floors in the living room onlyn close to downtown Wheatonn access to the Prairie Path is across the streetn easy access to the College Avenue train stationn price super affordable One bedroom 795nnCONSn location railroad runs along sidefront of buildingsn cockroaches and other bugsn no central ACn draftyn not very big the kitchen is especially smalln parking only 1 parking spot per apartment guests or a roommatesignificant other with a second car must park in train parking lot or on the street during the free parking hoursn tenants are allowed to smoke outside their apartment so my bedroom always smelled like weed and my living smelled like cigarettesn the wooden walkway outside the second floor apartments are deterioratingn managements idea of cleaning the apartment is slapping on a coat of paint my dishes and kitchenware constantly got stuck to the cabinets with the layers of paint and there is paint permanently stuck to themn management is very rude I assumed that since they had a heavy accent from another country it was a cultural thing but everyone I spoke to was ruden maintenance is effective but when sewage backed up into my tub on a Saturday they gave me a hard timetelling me to plunge it or if it could wait until Mondayn when I found someone to sublet for me they repainted the apartmentcharging me 75 an hourin order to paint the walls all one color when they were the ones who painted them in the first placen getting my deposit back was a nightmare I agree with the other reviewer here I got yelled at and hung up on because they didnt want to send my deposit to my forwarding addressthey kept sending it to the College Avenue apartment I had vacated because they follow the law as they repeatedly said on the phone defensivelynnBOTTOM LINE You get what you pay for Yes the price is nice but you pay for the difference in other ways Proceed with caution more ... hide ...

My therapist my psychiatrist and apparently the administrator abandoned me at the time I needed them the most I was hospitalized in will county so they decided I should seek further treatment there I grew up in Lisle my whole life Had my therapist for atleast 5 years and with a a flippant unceremonious goodbye said see ya I became unnerved Couldnt stop 2022-03-11T17:31:36Z
