My rating is mostly attributed to the management company of the property The rent you pay is nowhere close to the value of the property and the building is falling apart My doors are all falling off the hinges because of rotting wood my kitchen reeks of mold from a leak above my unit that STILL has not been fixed they left a hole in the ceiling and you can see into my kitchen from the basement which I dont have access to but the maintenance men do Ive seen tenants poop in the back parking lot I went 4 days when I first moved in without a working fridge even though thats the first thing I requested be fixed I lost all of my refrigerated items and had to basically eat takeout with my kids for 4 days which I hadnt budgeted for Ive been harrassed by homeless people sleeping in the hallway to the laundry room me and my 3 year old children were locked in my apartment after requesting someone fix the only door in and out of the apartment a week prior This place is a joke Unless you just have money to waste leasing here is not a good idea All they want is your money and they do below the bare minimum to actually take care of the complex They are all nice to your face but are a bunch of donothings They completely fix the definition of slum lords Avoid this apartment and Barret Asset Management at all costsnnAlso theyll tell you to contact them to make things right or that you should just file a request online but they just aparently ignore things they dont want to address I have called texted filled out online request left voicemails even had the health department call them but they still continuously ignore my request to speak with them andor have my issues resolved more ... hide ...

I would like to share my thoughts about Farrell Bell Senior Apartment My mom has been living here for almost 9 years and I cant begin to tell you how pleased all 7 of her children are The staff are simply amazing Lets me start with Ms Davis she keeps the residents engaged with activities she brings in health care providersand assist them with getting financial help with they utilities and also pantry My mom has told us from day one she makes them feel like they are her family The maintenance man goes above and beyond his duties and I greatly appreciate him clean building at all times and as soon as you call him he is at your door to complete the work order The service coordinator has her hands full but she does not miss a beat in helping the residents Overall the Thomas family can rest easy at night knowing our mother is in a 5 star facility with a management team that wants the best for them I thank each one for the love you give your residents I would recommend anyone looking for a senior building for they loved one to go to Farrell Bell and your search will be over more ... hide ...

Let me start off by saying management was friendly They moved me into a clean unit with new carpet I lived here for 3 years The positive notes This is one of the quieter complexes in the area Never had trouble with neighbors being loud never had bugs maintenance is quick and efficient The negative unless you get lucky most of the units have General Electric StovesOvens from the 1980s same for the refrigerators My refrigerator never got below 41F even on the lowest temperature Some units are modernized but youd think for 700 a month theyd ALL be updated Second warning Neighbors Are NOSY I started dating a woman while living here and my neighbor didnt appreciate her parking in her parking spaceno assigned parking She reported me to the leasing office and the office threatened to evict me No proof no warning just he said she said They demanded my new girlfriend provide them with a copy of her personal lease for proof of residence It wouldnt have been a problem except parking space Karen said she knew someone at the leasing office and then next day I had a tow sticker from the Mann Village contracted towing company on my car Even though I lived there which is illegal and against the lease agreement by the way Apartments are solid but dont park in your neighbors parking space or breath loudly past 9pm Also Zores Towing patrols this complex They WILL tag your car for no reason They are a known predatory towing company so dont have guests over after midnight The apartments are fine but the nosy neighbors and management leave much to be desirednnPost EditnI got the majority of my security deposit back more ... hide ...
