Moved out of this place on November 30th 2018 We received a moveout inspection letter on December 14th 2018 with a list of charges they felt we were responsible for On December 14th I responded via certified mail my letter of dissent stating the charges they were listing were inappropriate in some areas I requested a response back by Certified Mail and never got one So Mid December I got a hold of the property manager above Stefanie She stated she was sorry and they were just busy and would reply back soon I requested they do so via Certified Mail so they knew and I knew I got the letter A letter never came 25 years passed and I just assumed they agreed with everything I had written and they recouped their losses from my deposit which I was fine with I got a letter today stating 400 is owed for the very charges I disputed I immediately called the collection agency and disputed the charge Im currently awaiting a response from the new company who have taken them over since I lived there to get back to me But I have in my hands the letter of dissent I CMd to them 25 years ago Big questions herennWhy the delay in responding to me originallynWhy are they just now filing a collections claim 25 years laternnRegardless of anything they come back at me with this should have been handled done within 6 months of me moving out to bring this up to me now nearly 3 years later is pretty outrageous If youre about to move out video record everything Save every letter you write them You may need them more ... hide ...
