I would have left zero stars if an option In my opinion as one of the original residents the management of the property leaves much to be desired For example 4 Community Managers and 10 Assistant Community Managers in 1112 yearswhat does that tell you In addition maintenance has markedly decreased over the years possibly due to high turnover and long periods

I would have left zero stars if an option In my opinion as one of the original residents the management of the property leaves much to be desired For example 4 Community Managers and 10 Assistant Community Managers in 1112 yearswhat does that tell you In addition maintenance has markedly decreased over the years possibly due to high turnover and long periods of shortstaff between turnovers The property is partly owned by Victory Housing an arm of the Archdiocese of Washington DC and is managed by Humphrey Management While living at Victory Crest is better than being homeless and the rent is low Section 8 I wouldnt recommend moving to Victory Crest except as a last resort

I have been living here for 6 years and so much has changed drastically for the worst these past 2 years I have no clue what happened with the staff at the leasing office but they dont want to work They seem very bothered to answer questions or take down messages to forward I walked in the leasing office one day and met with Xiomara She had an attitude and was not helpful at all She pretty much gave me the impression she wanted me to leave When I didnt leave and insisted on speaking to someone else she said she could take my info and someone will call me She took a piece of sticky note wrote my info and as I turned to leave she threw the note away and I wasnt even out the office yet Another thing this place was so diverse and the tenants knew eachother especially all types of races and ethnicities I am very confused to where in the hell they went to go advertise because the community is now filled with a bunch of ratchet hispanics There are stupid loud Hondas everywhere making a disruption at all hours of the day Trash everywhere because the parking lot is being used as a mechanic site People hanging out at the front complexes obstructing passages Fireworks nearly everyday after 10p This place use to be so clean and quiet This place is deteriorating and it is slowly becoming Langley Park 20

My sisters and I searched for over a year before we decided Malta House was the option for our mothernnIt is a small only 32 residents facility and a short drive from my home We had multiple interviews with Ms Elizabeth Orchard as well as a tour of the facility and an opportunity for my mother to visit and experience the activities before she moved My moth

My sisters and I searched for over a year before we decided Malta House was the option for our mothernnIt is a small only 32 residents facility and a short drive from my home We had multiple interviews with Ms Elizabeth Orchard as well as a tour of the facility and an opportunity for my mother to visit and experience the activities before she moved My mother moved into Malta House in January 2020 and the pandemic struck in March During the confinement my mother has been safe and well cared for by the staff at Malta House As the CDC and State guidelines evolved the staff provided updated information While ensuring residents safety and wellness Malta House allowed us limited access to our mother which prevented us from feeling cut off from her and her from feeling isolated The staff are professional caring and compassionate Activities for residents are limited at this time because of the pandemic but I hope that will be changing soon The residents rooms and community areas are well maintained My mother enjoys the food which is served in one of two small dining room I would recommend Malta House for anyone looking for a small facility to care for their loved one
