Laurel Lakes Senior Apartments as a whole has been such a blessing for my family and I My grandmother moved to Laurel Lakes in 2008 She was extremely picky regarding her new living arrangements specifically because she felt this would be her last home and she wanted it to feel like HOME We searched and searched until one day I called and spoke to Liz I felt 2018-04-05T18:41:01Z
Laurel Lakes Senior Apartments as a whole has been such a blessing for my family and I My grandmother moved to Laurel Lakes in 2008 She was extremely picky regarding her new living arrangements specifically because she felt this would be her last home and she wanted it to feel like HOME We searched and searched until one day I called and spoke to Liz I felt a sense comfort in her voice Her knowledge regarding leasing the apartment was exceptional She explained everything not only to me but to my grandma as well We both agreed this was it Boy were we right Over the years Liz has been amazing She is caring respectful and does any and everything possible to be of an assistance to ANYONE she comes in contact with I must admit the entire team at Laurel Lakes is GREAT Shavon is one of the most reliable responsible and loving managers I have ever seen Her smile will light up a room The maintenance department is ALWAYS efficient and very friendly I have always known each and every member of this staff to go above and beyond The building is always clean and maintained at all times My grandma spends each morning walking her dog where she is greeted with a smile from Liz whom ALWAYS checks on her and her well being Followed by Shavon and Sammy My grandma speaks very highly of these ladies and I myself have grown to love them as well Sadly many of my grandmas neighbors no longer have family members and friends to check on them Fortunately for all the residents at Laurel Lakes they will always have Liz Sammy Shavonnn A grateful granddaughter more ... hide ...

Beware of this complex They are under new management and they have lost my Dads checks twice These checks came from his banks bill pay service After writing a another check suddenly the check was found on someones desk They then tried to present the lost check thank goodness I stopped payment The other check has not been found yet so I have to stop payment 2021-04-01T00:11:33Z

Ive lived here for almost 2 years I signed on when BMC properties owned this location and they were amazing in terms of responsiveness and maintenance The maintenance man Herschel employed at this property was amazing our dishwasher broke the first week there and he replaced it the next day after we contacted management about it He also fixed our sinks gave 2022-03-09T22:56:16Z
Ive lived here for almost 2 years I signed on when BMC properties owned this location and they were amazing in terms of responsiveness and maintenance The maintenance man Herschel employed at this property was amazing our dishwasher broke the first week there and he replaced it the next day after we contacted management about it He also fixed our sinks gave us a new shower head etcnnSince new management took over responsiveness has decreased entirely and we havent had a working microwave in 18 days despite emailing them about it the day after it occurred it broke on a Sunday and they just arent reachable on weekends It was stated that emergency issues have taken priority issues which apparently take over 18 days to fix People came by to see if they could figure out what was wrong and then just told us what we already knew that the microwave doesnt work lol They said they would replace it the NEXT DAY at 9AM Its been 10 days since then Im over itnnThis might seem like a small thing and definitely a first world problem but a microwave is a necessity for us and we literally just skip meals because we dont have the time too cook meals on the stove or in the oven Not to mention were paying a lot of money in rent and deserve to get what were paying for Its just ridiculous at this point and Im so happy that Im moving out so I dont have to bug management anymorennThe location is super cute and Ive loved living here Its in an extremely convenient space theres free parking in the back lot a trail behind the complex and overall just has a really good sense of home Im really upset that new management is so removed and unhelpful that its just not worth it anymore I could have bought and installed my own microwave by now and I would have if I knew it would take management ages to do this With old management I would have rated this place 5 stars no problem But this has to change or more people are going to start leaving more ... hide ...

Laurel a old Mill town between Baltimore and Washington The town is still has the small town feel of the past including the Main Street containing you need within walking distance
