If I had to do it over again I would have tried to find another place to live I got a new job that required me to move to Monroe and on short notice having to drive from Lansing while our kids were in school look at apartments and drive back in time to pick them upnnThe Landings at Cedar Creek is what we could afford at the time as my old income allowed us to get into this complex We appreciated the dishwasher as well as location for a washer and drier which we brought ourselvesnnAnd that is basically where the pluses endnnAs AmandaD pointed out there were holes in the front and back doors The draft was so bad that during the winter and in Michigan thats like 67 months we did not even bother to eat in the kitchen because it was too cold Our spiders were not as bad as Amanda pointed out but the mold was therennLet me tell you about that So I only planned on staying here for a year so we did not totally unpack We left my boxes of books in the living room along with the bookshelves Well after a hard rain my books and their boxes got soaked from being on the flooryeah the rain got INTO THE LIVING ROOM and was seeping into the carpet You could and we did walk in our socks and they were soaking wet near the windows Well that dried but the boxes and books did notso by the time we moved mold had set into the carpet and walls and I have the photos for proofnnWe told management about this and they shrugged it off just like when they shrugged off the fact that our apartment was not cleaned before we moved in Something about the cleaning lady getting fired So one of the office ladies a thin blonde named Heather came over and did some spotcleaning herself Awkward They eventually did send another new hire but that was a bad impressionnnAlso our neighbors across the street were loud and obnoxious cussing out where children could hear They moved out about 45 months before we did and Im glad because I am certain that they were dealing out of there given that they had frequent visitors that we never saw againnnIf my wife were writing this review she would give it one star Im being more generous because with a few improvements this place would not be so bad

I just renewed my lease and am going into my third year with Park West Club There are a lot of reasons to like this communitynnThe maintenance staff led by Ted are first rate Whatever issue Ive had garbage disposal broken thermostat backed up kitchen sink leaking hot water heater theyve always responded within 24 hours to evaluate and promptly resolve the issue They also do a great job keeping the grounds tidy and the walkways cleared of snow and salted Whoever they contract for the lawn work and road plowing are also on the ball The grounds always look really nice herennI love that I have a laundry room rather than a laundry closet Its got shelves for storage and plenty of room for the cats litter box The bedroom bathroom and bedroom closet are all a good size The kitchen is small with limited cupboard and counter space but no worse than most apartment kitchens I do like that its open to the livingdining areas which gives it the semblance of being larger than it is Everything was super clean when I first moved in even the movers commented on how nice it smelled in herennPark West Club is perfectly located very close to restaurants shopping parks Monroe isnt very big but youre only 3045 mins from Toledo Detroit or Ann Arbor And even though were close to the main road Telegraph youd never know it Its very quiet back herennRent is a bit high but I guess thats the state of things these days I was hoping to transfer to a 2BR but from the time I first looked to just a couple of months later when I wouldve been eligible to transfer my lease the prices increased by some 300400mo I do wish I had more updated appliances They are old and ugly But I havent had issues with them so I cant really complain And in other places Ive lived there have been one or two large boxes for packages that you can access by a key left in your mailbox by the mail carrier They dont have these here and so I have to go all the way downtown to the post office the next day to pick up any packages that dont fit in my mailboxnnBut overall a great place to live and I would definitely recommend Park West Club

Long review there is no central air Windows drafty a bit musty smelling typical for an old building supposed to be nonsmoking but you know how people are they smoke anyways Have severe allergies living here not recommended Office staff friendly at first but then difficult over time especially the building manager Have any issues with the staff dont bother ca

I visit Mable H Kehres apartments frequently to help my girlfriend out who struggles with a disability I can not stress enough how immaculate Toni and Kim are and how well they run the complex Not only are they exceptionally professional and take time out of their busy days to thoroughly answer any question or concern we may have but they are very polite and
