I am in my 30s and have Autism I lived in this building for 6 years The discrimination I faced during my stay here was intense Since it is a primarily senior community I was not wanted here by the other residents since day one They day after I moved in I was already receiving noise complaints from my neighbors I have had police called on me hundreds of times

I am in my 30s and have Autism I lived in this building for 6 years The discrimination I faced during my stay here was intense Since it is a primarily senior community I was not wanted here by the other residents since day one They day after I moved in I was already receiving noise complaints from my neighbors I have had police called on me hundreds of times for no reason Management did nothing to stop the harassment I was receiving from my neighbors Even management discriminated against me by purposefully not fixing things in my apartment One summer they let me go all summer without air conditioning and I became very Ill from my other medical conditions and almost died Finally I was evicted after I had a meltdown because the neighbor above me installed some kind of industrial antenna on her balcony witch caused a buzzing sound that permiated throughout the entire apartment and causing me to be sleep deprived and sensory overloaded for months Again when I approached management about this issue no solution was offered to me witch eventually ended up causing me to finally have a mental breakdown Because I am extremely low income this caused me to become homeless Even though mentally disabled people are allowed to live in this building they are clearly not wanted here Over the 6 years that I lived here I witnessed 2 other mentally disabled people get ran out of the building by other residents complaints and management discrimination I lost everything my cat my things everything This place is heartless when it comes to mentally disabled people Please spare yourself or your loved one this hell by just skipping over this place in your search for low income housingnAlso when I left the building in general was falling into a dangerous state of disrepair Senior citizens forced to walk over ice patches to get to there cars because the sidewalks and parking lots were never salted At least one of the two elevators was always down One time both elevators were down for 3 days Leaving many seniors who were to frail to use the stairways trapped for 3 days It is supposedly a non smoking building but this rule is never enforced For these reasons its probably not the best place for a senior citizen either
