Update American House in Riverview was just awarded Best Senior Living 2021 by a place for Mom March 2021 This exclusive Designation honors only the top 3 of senior care providers across the United States and Canada This comes as no surprise to us We Love American House and truly believe they deserve this Honor and many more The people here are some of the hardest working most compassionate caring people you would ever be blessed to meetnnWe moved here during the most stressful time in our lives with the passing of my Father who was my mothers caregiver and the PandemicnI must say from the very beginning when I first contacted American House in Riverview to find out about availability Nicole the community relations director was excellent at guiding me and helping me understand possible options I am forever grateful for her help she is a living angel Flash forward a couple months and the transition has gone very smooth My mom loves her apartment and the team of people she interacts with daily Taja the director does a great job keeping the residents and the families informed she is very personable and really cares about the happiness of the residents and that they are well taken care ofnThe chef prepares delicious food that my mom loves The food staff employees are all very nice Lakita and Lamar are two of my favorites that work serving the food They both go out of their way to provide excellent service to the residents Housekeeping staff are trustworthy and treat my mom and her apartment with respect Dan maintenance is terrific and takes the time to learn the residents names and interacts with each of them Delene and Samantha receptionists are very sweet too Arlene and the medical team have been very helpful with getting moms care needs met The employees at American House do their job everyday and do it well even during a Pandemic Definitely recommend American House in Riverview more ... hide ...

Wouldnt recommend AT ALLnWhile living here I dealt with nosiness harassment from day 1 to the endnEveryone in the leasing officeCarol is unhelpful and disrespectful including the maintenance mannTheres many elder people who live there that do not respect privacy what so ever complain if they hear a needle drop The police is in the area very often at both 2020-05-03T03:09:48Z
Wouldnt recommend AT ALLnWhile living here I dealt with nosiness harassment from day 1 to the endnEveryone in the leasing officeCarol is unhelpful and disrespectful including the maintenance mannTheres many elder people who live there that do not respect privacy what so ever complain if they hear a needle drop The police is in the area very often at both complexsnI found it very unappealing that the maintenance man walked into my apartment multiple times without knocking to warn me I also didnt appreciate that a tenant died in one of the apartment buildings and no one was notified at all as they rushed the family to clean the vacant unit and move a new family in which is highly unprofessionalnTo put the cherry on top an elder caucasian tenant told me Dont come back to my apartments as if they were the sole owner which they arent And I pay my rent every month I was also harassed by tenant taking photos of my license platenThis apartment is very unwelcoming the people who live within are horrendous neighbors and they need new management as well as upgrades more ... hide ...
