Baker Park has transitioned into an independent living apartment complex There is no longer nursing care but a portion of monthly meals are included as part of the rental payments The menu is created by a Sanford dietician and served daily in the main dining room or as a takeout option for the residents The food plan is varied healthy and deliciousnThe entire facility has undergone a major update while maintaining wide corridors and many lovely common spaces Apartments also still have the emergency pull cords and zero entry showers and some handicap assessible bathrooms as well Our parents apartment was immaculate freshly painted had new flooring and boasts a lake view It is a wonderful spot for a 65 person The activities director and the facility manager are excellent They care about the facility and the residents and work to provide inviting common spaces and a wide variety of activities for the residentsnAll utilities except cablewifi are included Parking is abundant with ramp access as needed for wheelchairs or walkers The entrance is also secured by coded cards and has an intercom system to admit guests from each apartment Laundry is onsite and super affordable Baker Park has two elevators and a fulltime maintenance person to assess and fix any facility issuenIf you have a senior citizen with a limited income in your circle this is a wonderful place for them to be Lakeview living with wonderful access to the sidewalks for walking The waterfront is even in walking distance to enjoy the activities like Music in the Park Its worth your time to talk with the folks at Baker Park and discover this wonderful senior citizen hidden gem more ... hide ...

Horrible area to raise a family or single family The buildingsnare nice and space but the area is horrible I moved here caused they said they cleaned it out I dont see no changes parents dont watch their children here eother their getting high or drunk while there kids running around

Thank the good God above for this place Its a really good place for many who need it I live here and it is a safe place to live The staff here is awesome they really care about the people who live here
