I live in the downtown Concord NH area and looking to get a bigger apartment I heard of fire house block and how they are right downtown I would like to stay somewhere close to where Im currently atnLast week I put in a housing application and realized I forgot to give them copy of my SS card and my birth cert and by the time I realized it they were close which is fine the people who took it said she will not be back in until Tuesday So I got my birth cert and ss card in my back pack and walked down there I have my small Chihuahua mix with me I buzzed the office and they let me in I walked into the office and say I dropped off an application last week and forgot to leave my birth cert and ss card The woman ignores everything I said and starts yelling at me Is that a service dog I was in shock and said no she is going to be put in training to be a motional support dog She got much more rude and yells THERE ARE NO DOGS ALLOWED THERE ARE SIGNS SAYING THAT BEFORE YOU ENTER THE BUILDING I was shocked and could barely say anything I said oh Im sorry I didnt know that and I didnt see any signs saying no dogs allowed I forgot to drop some stuff off Her reply was you need to take your dog back to where ever it is you came from and than come back without the dog I was stunned I turned around and left I had other places I needed to go near by and before I completed my next errand I called the office and explained to the same woman that she serves as a companion animal through Riverbend and my current address and how I plan on getting her trained as a support dog and that there were no signs saying no pets allowed She came back still yelling saying NO DOG ALLOWED ONLY SERVICE DOGS At that point I told her I need my dog and told her to toss my application and she said fine if that what you want I hung up after thatnI cant believe how I was treated And will be looking else where to live I do not be any means want to rent from a woman so rude and hateful All because I had my 18 pound Chihuahua mix with me I have never been spoken to with some much disrespect in my life and I have had my fair share of itnThere where no signs saying no dogs and never asked on the applicationnI have been in contact with my counselor with Riverbend and explained what happened she said that I shouldnt have been treated that waynI will be calling tomorrow and ask to speak with a manager or someone higher up Im still in shock about this

this place is unbelievable They installed all brand new windows in this building last year This year they told the elderly residents that they cant use their own AC units in their new windows and must purchase one of their AC units for 475 plus another 25 to have them install it That is insanity These poor residents are already on a fixed income and you go ahead and force them to purchase a 500 ac unit because you changed the windows YOU should be providing those units to the residents for those that have been there prior too installation They did NOT sign a lease stating they would have to purchase a 500 AC unit of YOURS There has to be some sort of legal action against this
