I have been involved with Glendale Assisted living for over 6 years On both sides of the coin My mother lived at the Glendale for over 2 years Her care was nothing but perfection Her nurses always administered her meds in a timely fashion Home health aides were there to assist to her needs daily and in a timely fashion She loved the food there and if she needed assistance with feeding they were always there to assist The director Linda Johnson has regularly scheduled staff meeting and always nows everything about the residents that lived there And with all her duties she still was able to be on top of all her residents And how did I know this Well I am a registered Nurse and was there everyday to visit my mother Jodi the activities director always has lots of activities planned From the zoo to Manor house to lunch dates parks and ice cream visits She also went out of her way and went store shopping for those residents who could not get out or had no one Available to assists Of course this was all before covid But now that my mother has passed I am still involved with the Glendale I am an RN and see residents on a regular basis thru the Health care company I work for There a few new faces there like the DON Krystal She is an excellent educator and always goes beyond corresponding with family and staff When I walk into the Glendale everyone is friendly and says good morning with a smile That makes my day So if your looking for a family oriented home for your loved one You have found it at the Glendale Eve Lynne Jurski RN more ... hide ...

I lived here starting in Summer 2005 on the 19th floor with my parents and for the first couple years things were great under the management of Chrys and then Anne Rogacki I ended up living here for 6 years and in that time after the first couple years and the loss of Chrys and Anne when Angie Walton and Shawn managed the building things began to go downhill 2015-04-15T05:43:15Z
I lived here starting in Summer 2005 on the 19th floor with my parents and for the first couple years things were great under the management of Chrys and then Anne Rogacki I ended up living here for 6 years and in that time after the first couple years and the loss of Chrys and Anne when Angie Walton and Shawn managed the building things began to go downhill steadily Lower quality tenants and strippers and ghetto thugs were allowed to move in and kids running down the halls door slamming fire alarms in the middle of the night non residents and drunks being let in or making their way into the building by propping open or breaking the locking security doors or intimidating residents to let them in or in one case dialing random numbers to ask residents to let them in loud music parties all began happening along with break ins in the adjacent parking garage It was at this time I knew it was time to leave and move out I signed my last lease in 2010 and it was during this time that a drunk non resident was let into the building by residents in the middle of the night and started riding the elevator to random floors trying to get into apartments and one of which was on my floor I found graffiti and racial slurs on my door the next morning and it was at that moment I knew I had to move out I reported the incident to police who never showed up and never took a police report and management and they did not a thing about it and offered no real solutions to prevent it from happening again stating it was ultimately the tenants responsibility to protect themselves and that any and all security was approved by the owners I got out once my lease was up and they tried to charge me back rent and unpaid rent charges and damages to the apartment once I moved out to a total of 1000 I disputed the charges and they told me it was a mistake and that I should have never received it The moral of the story is this stuff is still happening and nothing has changed and its now a bad slum in downtown for low income trash Dont move here it was once a great place to live and well kept now its a dump I have been gone 4 years and it was one of my best decisions as I have never been as scared as I was that night They dont care who moves in as long as occupancy is good more ... hide ...

I never lived here so I cant really say from experience However I went for an application and decided to just pass these by They looked very rough and dangerous I would not feel safe at all bringing kids home to this area A bunch of guys standing outside were staring at me like a pack of Wolves and I hadnt even gotten out of the car No thanks If you care abo 2019-10-10T17:22:54Z

Only reason this place is getting 2 stars is for the 24 hour security They have bedbugs in the heating vents that are impossible to get rid of and I was kicked out for going back to school Demanding 550 dollars a month when I only got 1000 every three months in student loans This isnt the right place to be if you want to try to move up in life
