Lets start out with the unprofessional behavior of staff Adrean Thomas of the inspection department The first encounter Ive had with her was when she was supposed to reinspect a repair that I personally reported She never inspected the repair Repeated several time over me that as far as Im concerned its done despite water damage and mold being covered up instead of removed and repaired by the property manager of Regent Terrace She also stated that You should have never had access to see into the closet to know that there was a problem in the first placeHvac closet in my unit is under lock and key which only property management and maintenance workers have When I commented that I would be reporting her for not doing her job properly She says watch it because I can get you put out I called and emailed inspections and nothing was done The next encounter was when she was supposed to reassess repairs on my yearly inspection She claimed she was outside at 857a When I arrived outside at 859a she was no where to be found I waited 15minutes She had reported I was a no show Again PHA did nothing when I brought this to their attentionnnIve had several issues with my case worker not responding to me at all and being unreachable even by her colleagues apparently My recertification was due weeks ago yet it is still pendingnnIve been to PHAs building four times in the past month I was told someone would contact me No one has contacted mennDuring yearly inspections property managers are given 30days to complete repairs In my case they were not completed in the allotted time frame I received a notice stating if the property manager did not complete the repairs in 60 days time I was to receive a voucher and instructed to move Over 60days has passed repairs are not done no voucher and unable to reach anyone to talk to about said matternnIve been dealing with living in a unit with a water damaged and moldy hvac closet for two years Let me mention that the damage was there prior to me moving in and was not disclosed to me The hvac closet is locked and tenants are not allowed a key The mold had made it the perfect environment for an infestation of roaches to build their nest Ive emailed PHA several times over the span of MONTHS about the issue My property manager refuses to fix it and has covered the entire damaged wall with a slab of drywall spackle and white spray paint Ultimately sealing the nest in the wall making it virtually impossible to rid them and covering up the mold Now the property manager continues to flip flop between the damage was repaired and there was no damage I have pictures which I sent to PHA as proofnnI am at this point beyond fed up I have pictures videos emails phone records and witness who can all attest to what has being going on and the neglect on everyone involved more ... hide ...
