I am very disheartened by the current management of Carson Towers Recently my great aunt was living at the apartment building and fell ill and later passed My family was in constant contact well attempted to be but the manager does not return calls or messages with the building manager RichardnFirst off we received Condolences after she passed though she was a part of the community for 10 years nope not a word not a card nothingnSecondly we paid for the entire month to spend the time cleaning the apartment and removing her belongings note the check was cashedand in that month the manager saw our family their several times removing furniture and items from the residence having every opportunity to speak with any of us in regards to information that needs to be taken care of before the end of the month yet not a word is spokennThirdly we come for our final clean out day to take the last of the items out of the apartmenta bucket of tools pictures cable box small book shelf and any of the last of the mail that has been sent to the building On opening the apartment door we notice the things we had read to go move and or missing Bucket of tools gone mail GONE cable boxes thrown on the floor and now a large trash can in the center of the room We immediately call the management office were yet again we have to leave a message We inform them of what has happened and how I happen we are with this situation As we are carrying what is left out to the car we run into Richard the manager who we politely ask if he knows what might have happened he barks hedoesnt have time for this call the office and make an appointment We again say well we paid to the end of the month so no one should be in the apartment then he physically growls and storms off Very unprofessionally Calmly I go to the office to just let him know what we were missing just in case he comes across it speaking with staffnRichard then informs me that once someone passes HUD rules are you get 2 weeks to move out this was never conveyed to our family and there is nothing he can now donThis is very upsetting knowing that this is how an apartment that caters to the elderly and in need treats people I honestly feel that its more about the dollars coming in that helping those in a time of need and that is just a damn same
