Lived here 2 years Owners are slum lords they will greet you with care and compassion until they no longer have your money The whole building is falling apart with minimal maintenance they nickel and dime on security deposits and sends blanket threatening emails to all tenantsnnAs with all living in central Pittsburgh the building is very old however unlike other owners the building feels heavily neglected and in need of severe restoration The owners apathy is highlighted by the fact they pull up in a PorchennHere is a list of the unpleasant occurrences in the duration of my staynvery inconsistent heating during Winter season with no tenant controlnRent consistently increasednDamage to exterior brickwork allows for moisture to leak into the plaster walls This caused for mold to grow and for the walls to disintegrate into the living space Exterior brinks were repointed but the interior walls continue to become saturated with moisturenLand lords and maintenance show up with little to no advanced notificationnno recycling options were providednsingle shared washer and dryer for whole complex Appliances are dated and not well maintainednparking is extremely difficult with an exorbitant garage use feenbottom of second floor balcony collapsed due to rusting and erosion Rusted metal bar from the collapse sat on lawn of entry way for over 6 monthsnnThe owners maintain this lack of quality because the complex is accessible to the major universities in the area and the amenities in squirrel hill but you will be able to find better for cheaper without any loss of accessibility
