Right in the middle of Covid19 they raised our rent based on what they believe we will make over the next 12 months even tho one of us was totally laid off due to the outbreak They raised our rent by nearly 70 no amount of my explaining one of us was out of work made a difference This is why basing rent on future earnings is a disaster it doesnt account for someone becoming ill getting laid off or fired etc etc This is the most cynical policy Ive ever witnessed and I witness outrageous things here in public housingTotally cold hearted indifferent for shame if they knew it We will not be able to pay the rent for June 2020 and will either wind up evicted or in court I dont understand the concept of guessing what well earn over the next year what about people who work per diem You see it doesnt make sense Im reading through the lease but they are counting on the fact that Im not a legal expert so Im not entirely certain if this is okay Two of the three of us have not received the Covid19 relief money were still unclear why otherwise this wouldnt be such an issue This just feels so wrong we do everything right work hard and do our best and were still kicked while were down Stephanie at housing seems like she is totally mentally checked out I wouldnt quite say she is rude but she makes it absolutely clear that she just doesnt care What is the purpose of the government trying to give people relief only to kick them onto the street and destroy their lives for no good reason whatsoever more ... hide ...
