First thing I must say when we first moved here we were ABSOLUTELY SHOCKED to learn that this was definitely NOT luxury living BUT since the NEW MANAGEMENT has taken over I would definitely give Emerson Isles a 5 out of 5 STARS FOR LUXURY LIVING EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED TO LUXURY INCLUDING the OFFICE STAFF Actually they are why I started to write this review in the first place 630am THIS MORNING a gray faced meaning senior Doggy wondering around which is COMPLETELY UNCOMMON here In fear of him being hit by a car a few residents Kept and eye on him until the office opened The OFFICE STAFF was so kind to take him to see if he was microchipped and now they are smothering him with lots of hugs lots of kisses in the office until the owner is foundnUnlike where we used to live at 29 Edgewater someone let a pet duck loose that became everybodys favorite and was the nicest DUCK residence named him Henry he would not harm a fly and everyone would come out to see and feed him 5 weeks later the office had sweet Henry KILLED They said he was a liability you tell me where youd rather live I know Im at the right place more ... hide ...

I lived here for a year and a half most of the first year under Crowne and the last several months as Residences Under the new management there were definite changes the buildings were painted and exterior light fixtures replacednThe building I was in was pressure washed in October in preparation for painting During this the fire alarm panel outside of my apartment got wet and it shorted something out This created an error causing the panel to alarm From when this started in October until I moved out at the end of December this was never fixed I was assured consistently that it was being looked into and that they were trying to get it repairednMeanwhile I had a panel in the wall beeping at all hours waking me up at night and making it difficult to watch tv or do much of anything in the living roo Eventually the panel was left open and every day I would go outside to silence the alarm to have some peace as the silence function only worked for 24 hours at a time My worry always was what if there was a fire Would the alarm go off as it is supposed to or would this error in the panel cause it to not go offnOn a different note when I moved out I was assessed a cleaning fee for an apartment which was left immaculately clean And this was only after contacting the office to get a copy of the final statement which took several tries as the original statement I was given said I owed several hundred dollarsnMy understanding is a cleaning fee is only ever assessed when an apartment is left in a state where drastic measures are needed to clean it In the end it feels like they were just trying to find a way to keep more of my security deposit rather than surrendering back to me more ... hide ...
