I interviewed for the maintenance position here today and was given a maintenance test to completeThe test ranged from electrical plumbing drywall carpentry landscaping and lawn care appliance repair HVAC and Tool knowledge Ive got a few years of building maintenance and remodeling experience but I havent learned everything there is to know I failed the test by 2 questions you can only miss 9 out of almost 50 questions At that point the interview was over I was a bit confused because I thought the test was their way of determining someones abilities not disqualifying them entirely What I dont understand is why the job posting says experience preferred but not necessary Theyre also offering entry level wages at 1114 hr yet giving tests on a broad range of maintenance fields Do you guys think that someone who is well experienced in all of those fields is going to accept that amount of compensation So I called their corporate office to ask why theres a conflict in what their asking for in the job posting vs what theyre asking for in the interview After explaining the situation he said Theres nothing I can do and hung up on me After reading their employee reviews on Indeed and Glassdoor Im starting to understand why theyre having issues finding good employees Im not trying to bad mouth this place its very nice and the lady I spoke with was kind I just felt like the interview process was unfair and misguided more ... hide ...

This is an amazing place to live Brian Hester the apartment manager is very attentive to the residents needs He always makes sure if something needs to be fixed or anything he doesnt wait hes right on top of it He doesnt allow any problem people to stay here Its just a great place to live Im a single mom with 3 kids and weve been here going on 3 years
