If i could I would give this place 0 stars I have never had such a horrible experience with apartments like I did with Villas at Vine The worst experience ever and I didnt even move in yet They had known for a month that I was needing to move in on April 23rd April 23rd my apartment still was being renovated and I knew nothing about it until I got there with 2021-04-28T23:11:01Z
If i could I would give this place 0 stars I have never had such a horrible experience with apartments like I did with Villas at Vine The worst experience ever and I didnt even move in yet They had known for a month that I was needing to move in on April 23rd April 23rd my apartment still was being renovated and I knew nothing about it until I got there with a uhaul with all my stuff the floors still needed to be done the cabinets still needed to be done there were no blinds on the windows the appliances were still needing to be put in They told me the day I signed my lease on April 22nd that my apartment will be ready by the next morning IT WAS NOT I had to leave my stuff there while my apartment was still being renovated because i had nowhere else to put all of my valuables and things I had both of my TVs my shoes my clothes and my sons shoes as well as my backpack with everything in it STOLEN because the maintenance man does not know how to make sure everything is locked up before he left the apartment which still was not ready I was already told by two different residents they do not recommend this place at all I was also told by the police that they are always called there I did get my money back so do not let these people lie to you and do you dirty like they did me you will regret it more ... hide ...

Ive lived in Birkhill Apartments for 2 and a half years and Im really starting to be annoyed with this property The first year the fire alarms would go off constantly There was even a separate alarm not sure what it was for but it would be in the lobby areas and those would be going off for hours and sometimes days on end Im not lying youd walk through the lobby and youd hear this random alarm beeping nonstop At some point someone made an attempt to break open the case in which the alarm panel was located in an effort to stop it but only ended up bending the metal frame of the casing and never gaining access to it to shut it offnnThe alarms have since been resolved but then there was the matter with some of the stairwells Most people dont use them but I prefer to do so as it can be faster than waiting on the elevators Unfortunately for some reason the stairwell doors are locked preventing access from within the stairwell so once inside the stairwell your only escape is on the ground floor If youre hoping to get your steps in while living here you cant as you cannot access your floor from the stairwell so you can only use it to vacate the building Speaking of recently we had an accident occur in which a car crashed into some electrical box near the office knocking out our buildings power for several hours No biggie but it is during this event in which I noticed the stairwells had no emergency lighting it was completely dark in there Isnt that a fire code violation Also this is when those stairwell doors being locked really came into play as I was able to gain access to the stairs on the ground floor remember power was out so no elevator but had to pound on the stairwell door until a neighbor heard me from inside his own apartment and opened the stairwell door allowing me to gain access to my floornnIn addition there was a time where some dogowners would simply use the stairwell for their pets bathroom with the feces sitting for weeks There was even a case in which human feces was seen in the north stairwell see pic Transients also manage to make their way inside and sleep on the floor in the hallways see picnnThe issues with feces human or animal in the stairwells seems to have been resolved but not the locked stairwell doors or the lack of emergency lightingnnInspections seem to occur frequently with the most recent inspection being noticed on my door for a week or two out and when that day came I discovered yet another notice on my door that the inspection would actually take place on a future date I also recently had a notice that maintenance had been in my unit though I had not requested nor had been notified of this intrusion The purpose of this maintenance visit inside my home was not noted nor have I ever been told whynnIn early 2021 it was noted that the property would no longer be including tv services with the rent which wasis fine and I was informed that I would see a credit off my bill in the amount equal to that service which I thought was fantastic Im not receiving said service so it only makes sense to not bill me for it Wellthe last two months they HAVE billed me for it I overpaid last month with the office staff informing me that the credit was taken off my bill too late but that it would be corrected going forward I figured no problem I had overpaid but I was anticipating that to be reflected on my bill for this mostrecent month Wellit wasnt And they also are charging me for tv services again see picturennAnother issue I have noticed is that I have lived there less than 3 years but the turnover rate with the office staff is high Thats never a good sign My prior complaints regarding faulty gym equipmentgym tv were never resolved by the preceeding office staffmanagers so I wont bother asking the latest staff to address these concerns Im confident they wont be around long based upon said turnover ratennI have other complaints but the character limit cut me off more ... hide ...
