I was passing through town on business and looking for a good restaurant for lunch Walking past the front door I noticed a sandwich sign outside the inn advertising a roast beef lunch for 500 350 for seniors Hey sounds hard to beat right nYou can stay or get take out I chose to stay in As I just turned 60 I received the senior discount I received a generous portion of beef with gravy which was actually pot roast but tender and tasty There were two very generous sides spinach and real mashed potatoes Dessert was a slice of apple pie with whipped cream They provided table service Bottomless cup of coffee water and apple juice were the drinks I was invited to stay for bingo afterwards and won around five bucks so I left with a full stomach and a few extra bucks The people whom I guess were mostly residents were very friendly and welcoming It was a nice experience If you live in the area check it out more ... hide ...
