I first applied for assistance at the Bellingham housing authority in april 2008 and I have never received any kind of assistance or help of any kind in the 13 years since I first applied The staff of the housing Authority is using the Grants awarded during the PANADEMIC to buy themselves new lap tops so they can work from home Never mind all the homeless in need of assistance That money is better served making there jobs more comfortable When I did get to the top of the waiting list for public housing and SUBMITTED all my house hold info I was told my housing assistance was denied but no reason was given for the denial and they still havent returned my calls when I sought leagal help on this matter again we were told they were out of the office and never returned our calls I have filled a complaint with HUD and the state and was put on a long list of similar people that have filed complaints about the services or lack of help that they received The app doesnt let you send a message to staff and you can not upload any documents through this app either the waiting list is just a REPRESENTATION of a waiting list and not the actual numbers so it is not current in any scince The app is non informative and you cant send the staff any messages or check on what openings they currently offeredThis is not a good app and not monitored by The staff it will not get you on a waiting list or sign you upYou have to keep calling to get anywhere with the BHA Ive been waiting 13 years and still nothing more ... hide ...
