This apartment is well located its close to U of A Himmel Park El Con and SafewaynApart from that this complex leaves little to be desired These apartments were not designed with noise in mind and it doesnt help that they havent been seriously updated in 20 years I lived here off and on for a few years and each apartment I leased had noise issues from yell

This apartment is well located its close to U of A Himmel Park El Con and SafewaynApart from that this complex leaves little to be desired These apartments were not designed with noise in mind and it doesnt help that they havent been seriously updated in 20 years I lived here off and on for a few years and each apartment I leased had noise issues from yelling screaming babies small children at all hours of the day recorderplaying televisionwatching and musicplaying While you should be able to do most of these things in the comfort of your own apartment with this complex the noise carryover is just awful Ear plugs were a must because there is no real enforcement of the quiet enjoyment or noise clauses in the lease save for a talkingto One neighbor played music so loud that it literally vibrated the walls and knocked down pictures When we calmly and politely approached this neighbor about their noise they were very aggressive and rude so much so that means were taken to avoid them in common areas for fear of actual physical confrontation Managements response to this issue was to insist that we obtain a police report referencing the noise but this was not very practical when we did try to call the nonemergency line and complain we were on hold for almost and hour and eventually gave up because the music had stoppednThe noise was the biggest issue had at this complex but there were several other inconveniences The onsite laundromats claim to take both quarters and cards but the card readers quickly stopped working There were a couple of runins with what appeared to be nonresidents in the laundromats the doors lock but dont latch who used the facility to charge their phones and kept bothering my roommate and I for our numbers On one occasion there were several cars on the property that had their tires slashed in the middle of the night On another occasion men were panhandling at our front door The wood around the deadbolt and latch of both the front and back door of the apartment was visibly deteriorating Parking is a nightmare especially if you arrive late at night usually the only open spaces were on the opposite side of the complex and I would end up walking alone at night in the dark back to my apartment after worknThe apartment most recently inhabited was not ready when we were told it would be and when we did end up moving in it was not clean The carpet was dirty and the kitchen walls were covered with grease and food stains

Im more mad at the owner of this complex than the staff I lived here for almost 8 years and every year the hot water goes out and every time the maintenance is covering the owner saying it needs a part but to be honest I was told that the whole hot water heater needs to be replaced the parts for it is hard to find the owner is so cheap he rather raise the re

This apartment is generally nice gated spacious and decent for the price However our experience has been really terrible because theres a REALLY bad issue with the outside air conditioner unitsnnWe live on the 2nd floor and the air conditioner unit of our neighbour downstairs makes a loud vibration noise If you look at the photos on Google maps you will see that all the air conditioner units are directly above the bedrooms of the 2nd floor apartments When our neighbours air conditioner runs the outside unit creats an annoying vibration noise in our two bedrooms the entire rooms fans walls floors etc are vibrating We measured the noise level in the bedrooms and the average is 58 dBA This is INSANE because according to the WHO guidelines average night exposure should not exceed 40 decibelsLongterm average exposure to levels above 55 decibels similar to the noise from a busy street can trigger elevated blood pressure and heart attacks The measured noise level doesnt even include the vibration the vibration will drive you crazy I have attached some images and vedios taken both in the rooms and outside the apartment so that anyone who reads this review knows how bad this issue isnnWe have tried to request a maintenance but the management and maintenance teams are horrible and unprofessional They first neglected our request for almost a month and when the maintenance finally showed up they said they couldnt do anything with it The manager then replied to my request online Maintenance checked unit There isnt anything wrong with the unit Just make noise that is uncomfortable for the resident How ridiculousnnIts impossible to sleep or work in our bedrooms and we had to move our bed and desks to the living room The noise is getting louder and louder every day and now we can hear the noise in the bathroom and sometimes even in the living room We paid 1000 a month for an apartment without bedrooms We have decided to move out though we moved in only two months agonnIf you still want to live here even after reading this review make sure the air conditioner units work properly in your room
