I want to express my sincere disappointment in the lack of communication and clarity during the entire moveout process When notifying of our lease termination we requested a final walk through as legally allowed which ultimately was not provided Additionally internal communication failed and resulted in us being billed for another months rent causing more ti

I want to express my sincere disappointment in the lack of communication and clarity during the entire moveout process When notifying of our lease termination we requested a final walk through as legally allowed which ultimately was not provided Additionally internal communication failed and resulted in us being billed for another months rent causing more time and effort on our end to remove the dues from our account The additional charges we incurred for our lease duration and pet fees were quite substantial then being charged for painting an apartment that was lived in for five months after being told at the start of our lease it wouldnt be required so long as no holes or damage to the walls were present finalized our disappointment After disputing the charges and attempting to contact the leasing office to further discuss we did not receive any response Multiple email and phone call attempts were made over the duration of 7 weeks We will refrain from referring colleagues family and friends from utilizing any EQR properties for lease in the future
