They forced another month or two of rent out of us when we were moving out because of some contractual technicality when we were at our lowest point and money was the tightest at the start of COVID We left the apartment in a better condition than we received it We hate living in unkempt filthy conditions so we go out of our way to maintain the space we eat and sleep Moving in there were dry boogers stuck to every surface in the apt the floors and bathroom tub were absolutely filthy massive clumps of dust and filth collecting on vents My girlfriend had a breakdown at how revolting it was Dont be fooled by their shiny new photos Disgusting to move into yet they kept the full security deposit Not even offering a fraction of it back though we hadnt left anything damaged and COVID times were at their worst Imagine when everything is going good If you feel like getting emotionally and financially abused by this cohort of property managers schedule a meeting otherwise steer clear Glad we moved out when we did Found a place with more amenities treats their tenants with respect for the same price downtown subsidized by the govt more ... hide ...

I would recommend The Avon Apartments to anyone When I moved here the manager Anita was very nice and helpful Ive lived here now for many years and still love it In the morning time I see the maintenance guy Mike walking the property cleaning and making sure the building is in the best shape He is always happy and positive making people laugh with jokes I lo 2020-11-05T13:55:26Z

The Great The Good The Bad and The UglynnI lived at Monaco lakes for almost 3 years First in a one bedroom and then in a two bedroomnnThe GreatnThey do a stellar job of keeping the grounds cleaned and maintained The grounds are gorgeous and its really nice to walk your dog around They are very pet friendly They are extremely close to the High Line Canal trail and its a easy bike ride to the Cherry Creek trail Anthony in the office is amazing You ever have a question Anthony will answer it with easennThe GoodnIts a good price for the amount of space you get Maintenance responds on a timely manner The walls are thick and youre unlikely to hear your neighbors I never see bugs or any pests for that matternnThe BadnIts a tiny AC window unit to try to cool your place in the summer Do not expect anything beyond the living room to be a tolerable temperature In the winter the heat is either way too strong or not enough It is baseboard heat The heat really lacks adjustability Personally I think youre better off using a space heater electric blankets or cooking a lot in your oven during the winter months The units are insulated well so as long as you can get it to a tolerable temperature it will stay a tolerable temperaturennThe UglynPeople break into and steal cars here There are no cameras and very little surveillance in the parking lots Ive had two cars be broken into Almost every neighbor Ive ever talked to knows someone in the apartment complex who has had their car broken into or stolen Also people have no respect for the elevators and laundry rooms The apartment janitors will come in clean them and someone will come in within an hour and make a mess Dont be surprised to see piss or vomit in either of them The apartment does clean it up fast but there is no way to keep up with the lack of respect people have for them more ... hide ...

Ive had a great experience living in the Capri Apartments the past 2 years I lived in a studio and it was actually a pretty good sized space It had 3 closets which gave me plenty of storage space It basically came with a kitchenette just a fridge freezer stove oven sink a few cabinets and one countertop It did make cooking and baking difficult but I was ab 2020-07-08T15:26:45Z
Ive had a great experience living in the Capri Apartments the past 2 years I lived in a studio and it was actually a pretty good sized space It had 3 closets which gave me plenty of storage space It basically came with a kitchenette just a fridge freezer stove oven sink a few cabinets and one countertop It did make cooking and baking difficult but I was able to manage with my table The AC in the building is always blasting during the summer and theres times I have to wear a jacket ha I loved it though Thankful for the AC It was a great place to livennThe staff are also very kind and helpful They seem like they do care about any issues going on Alexa is fantastic and always very friendly in emails and calls When I first mentioned I was moving and wanted to stay in the area or building she was fantastic at helping me out and seeing if I could I did end up moving elsewhere to a place owned by a different company but Im always extremely appreciative of Alexas helpnnThe one negative I can really think of is the parking If it wasnt for that Id give the place 5 stars If youre not lucky enough to move in when theres a garage spot available you pay way too much to park outside in spots that are being parked in by visitors or random people walking somewhere else Its very frustrating and theres nothing you can do about it You can call management during office hours but outside of that Youre out of luck You can call the 24 hour line but the people will say theres no one they can call so you can just write a note and leave it on the car Its typically in the evening or on the weekends that people are parking in spots so theres nothing you can do about it If management could possibly give towing info to the 24 hour line for when someone is parked there that would be helpful at leastnnOther than that everything else about the Capri was fantastic more ... hide ...
