The mission of Housing Authority states Everyone should have a place to call homenMy sister rented an apartment at Ratekin Towers She is mentally Ill schizophrenic and has been unstable the last few months I know she can be difficult to deal with when she is not taking her meds as prescribed I am her emergency contact I went to Housing Authority to talk to them about her apartment and if there was any rent due I had no idea that she had been evicted Although I am the emergency contact they would not talk to me could not find her file I sent a check for her rent thinking maybe she didnt pay her rent and they returned the check with no letter explanation nothing My sister due to her illness couldnt tell me she was evicted Shes sick A month later I received a call from Housing authority asking where the closing letter could be sent I called them back and said she does not have an address Shes homeless This is when I heard that she had been evicted I repeatedly asked where her stuff was from the apratment Many personal items herilooms from my mother who is deceased etc Nancy told me her stuff was thrown in the trash Nancy again could not find her file My question is why wasnt I contacted if Im her emergency contactnAll they had to do is make one phone call and tell me she was being evicted and come get her stuff or call her case manager Be careful renting thru Housing Authority They do not care more ... hide ...

Great place to live people are very friendly All are elderly or disabled We have fun activities This someplace I would choose too live and I have lived here for eight years

There are no GFI circuits by the bathroom sink and the kitchen sink there was something messing with the pipe under the shower I could hear it at night especially last night I cant see with out my glasses and I was evicted with no where to go no way to take my stuff with me and my health is really not that great The place isnt up to code thats all there is t 2021-03-29T20:01:40Z
