Lived here for 16 monthsmost of which was during the 1st year of COVID Management enters or instructs maintenance to enter apartments without notifying the renter Within one week of moving in they had entered my apartment without my knowledge They are breaking federal privacy laws when doing so There are cameras on the property supposedly to keep tenants safe although they are used to watch every move of certain people that Haley Jory apartment manager does not like and she will use ANY means to have you kicked out I had an elderly dog almost 18 and she told me she was going to charge me to replace the grass outside my apartment saying that my dog had been destructive My dog was simply peeing outside and the sprinklers had not worked for 10 months so the grass burned up as a result No one in management will answer or return phone calls and when you try to go over their heads they will just try to find any petty reason to have you kicked out When that doesnt work she will call the Louisville Police Department and have their officers come out and write tickets to you for not picking up dog waste immediatelyblah blah blah Some apartments have 35 pets in them supposedly there is a 2 pet maximum and they have tenants that are smoking in their apartments even though they get you to sign the lease saying it is a nonsmoking apartment complex Also fire alarms DO NOT WORK in these apartments It may be cheaper than other rent in the area but I would recommend that you just pay more and live in PEACE

No longer a safe community due to the laissezfaire approach of management THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME Yesterday again we had to large groups of teens trespass into the pool area They were under age drinking helping them selves to the free beer in the club house and drinking the alcohol they brought They were going in and out of the the pool restroom in groups Its a single stall restroom One can only speculate drugs Several neighbors complained to management They were asked to leave A couple hours the teens returned to the pool drunk trashing vandalizing the pool yelling profanities to the residents and threw objects at them which led to one of the residents being assaulted There were young children who witnessed this We are outraged Today we received an email stating all residents and their guests must were colored armbands to be at the pool An armband is not going stop this from happening again LAST YEAR THE SAME THING HAPPENED Teens arrived drinking vandalized and threatened a resident They tried to enforce the armband It clearly didnt work THIS COMMUNITY IS NOT SAFE WE REFUSE TO LET OUR CHILDREN BE EXPOSED TO SUCH VIOLENCE Management needs to take much larger steps to ensuring a safe community Cameras 247 security patroletc THE LACK OF RESPONSE TO THIS SITUATION IS UNACCEPTABLE

Places will have there own set of problems and Copper Ridge is no different for sure For a while management was going through some issues Ive been a resident here for a long time now and I have seen a lot of community managers come and go some better than othersnnReviews arent updated often to reflect changes that benefit currently as of me posting this the team at copper ridge is in my opinion the best one theyve had in years Maintenance is very quick with requests and the people on staff are always friendly you can literally wave them down for a question and they will go so far as to just put an order in for you if you ask themnnIve had them replace my dishwasher the same day it broke down not being able to find one they grabbed one from a unit being worked on Just so I didnt have to handwash my dishes not really a priority for most people Id imagine If you need something done you can expect it done in a pretty timely manner this included during the height of Covid where they were respectful about masks and me asking them not to come in during all of it because of my Wife being immunocompromisednnFor management like I said they have had their ups and downs but right now I can safely say that Jessica current community manager and the staff that works with her are in their top shape friendly attitudes and efficiency at tasks even if they arent completely familiar with everything yet it seems that a lot of the Avanti staff that have been coming here have been a good bunchnnHey every place will have its problems this place Its a nice place to live Right down the street from a grocery store across the road is a pharmacy tons of restaurants and a shopping center right across the highway speaking of that its along the mainstrip that feeds into 36 East and West so easy travel to Boulder and DenvernnIts also quiet around here there isnt a ton of noise in the neighbourhood or the town in general after about 93010pm perfect for a night stroll or just sitting outside peacefully Im guessing the walls are insulated well because Ive never been freezing in my home and Ive never heard any of my neighbours in the entire time Ive been here one had three kidsnnWhich there are schools basically around the corner so if you do have kids I imagine it wouldnt be that hard to not only take them in but also be more active in their school life a small aside I had this with my parents and I have fond memories of them bringing me lunch as a kid you could have that toonnYou get a good value here a responsive community that does care at least the current one and being on Mccaslin is quite a boon with everything Ive listednnI enjoy writing so this went on for a long time but if you want antldr its this Its a nice place nice people quiet great locationnnOh one extra note they need to do something about the dog waste ignorant people arent picking up and its hard for the staff to keep up with it

Updated Mary the manager reached out to me the same day this review was posted and got someone out to fix our problem within a few hours The apartment complex is great otherwise and has a ton of amenities We love that every apartment comes with a garage detached which is included in rent Taking a couple stars off because maintenance can take forever and we had to resort to posting a review in order to get our toilets fixed a month after submitting a work order and because of all the extra fees for things which we feel should be included with our rent especially since its pretty expensive herennOriginalnMake sure everything is working in the apartment prior to move in or itll never get fixed When we moved in a month ago we noticed the toilets were continually running and flushing and the outlets in the dining room werent working After mentioning this to a leasing agent we were told that the toilets were an easy fix and that the flappers needed to be replaced so we submitted a maintenance request a few days after move in After 2 weeks of the toilets constantly flushing we hadnt heard anything and called Resident Services to get an update We explained to them that we didnt want to get saddled with a high water bill that it seems wasteful to have 2 constantly running toilet during a drought and that the constant flushing was an issue and were told they would make a note of the urgency of the issue and that wed get a call back about when they could send someone That was over 2 weeks ago and we still havent heard a word Tried to email them last week so there was a written record and havent gotten a response there either Our toilets have been continually running for a month now and we have pretty much been ghosted through all our attempts to contact them Apparently public reviews are the only way to get attention for something that shouldve been fixed before move in and would be a 15 minute fix so here I am Wish wed delayed move in until they fixed the problems but hopefully other people can learn from our experience
