My grandmother lives here And has lived here since December of 2009 We have had no problems with management until it was taken over last year The current property manager Reynolds has made my grandmother cry several times And has told her that he is going to put a stop to her visitors the only family she has in the state who help her shop and help around her home He said this to her because two weeks ago while changing her sheet we discovered that she had bed bugs We were told that there was 1 other apartment in her building that has this problem but we were told it was contained Today my grandmother was down stairs talking with the other residents and discovered that the apartment that was contained has infested all the apartments 1st floor near him all the way to the third floor Reynolds has made my grandmother feel like she cannot go to the office for any problems she has because he holds over her head the fact that she can lose her apartment And she feels like if she makes any waves she will be evicted from her home I have been in and out of her home since she has moved in and I try my best to help her and she does her best to help me with my children Which has also been issue since the manager Reynolds took over the office because of the issues with him I have taken a job with less hours and less pay to help my grandmother feel safe from losing her apartment I really would like for my grandmother to move in with me but she isnt ready to give up her independence even though she worries about how upset things will make Reynolds And honestly I dont think my grandmother should feel like that She should be able to live her life the way she wants it and without fear of losing her home or it being infested with bed bugs because when the office was aware of a bad infestation they did nothing to protect the residents who didnt Mind you if a resident was aware of the problem they can demand to be treated without any signs of infestation but only if they ask for it They didnt treat none infested apartments during the inspection back in June when they were treating the infested apartment near hers But the office is quick to blame the residents for being at fault for the infestation even when they were clean 2 months ago and nothing has changed nothing used brought in or places visited or visitors since before the inspection
