I called and inquired about an section 8 housing list for a client I was told by the woman who answered the phone I could stop by to grab one I confirmed their address and hours of operation I drove from New Britain to Bristol Housing Authority Everything was locked and from the outside you could assume it was closed Even the lights were dimmed I had to ban

I called and inquired about an section 8 housing list for a client I was told by the woman who answered the phone I could stop by to grab one I confirmed their address and hours of operation I drove from New Britain to Bristol Housing Authority Everything was locked and from the outside you could assume it was closed Even the lights were dimmed I had to bang on the inside doors to be let in Then the woman that answers the door says they dont have any section 8 housing lists Unacceptable After I told her I called ahead and drove out from New Britain I insisted I be given something After shuffling around a bit I was given a 2021 listnnWhat I dont understand is why my client who is section 8 approved couldnt just be given the list when he asked before I feel terrible for those who have to advocate from themselves Grossly incompetent

I love this complex It is very clean and nicely decorated It feels very homey and the staff is very nice as well as the residents My Ma just moved there in January and the folks who work there could not be nicer A special shout out to Marvin who is very helpful and kind
