Leasing Office staff is unprofessional I went to apply for residency upon arriving no one greeted us One staff member was texting on her phone and the other two were sitting at the desk having a conversation with each other After grabbing their attention I asked for an application and was told to sit outside the office and wait for her to print an application While sitting someone else in laundry room began coughing loud and hard The unmasked staff member proceed to close the door right in front of us After 1015 mins she emerged out of the office to hand us a application as she was exiting out the office building Without providing me a chance to ask questions or gather information about the application process After she walked us out we stopped her to ask a question which let us know we did not meet some of the qualifications Just a heads up to let people know if you considering applying to this complex Youre going to need to be proactive the staff will not make any attempts to help

Started renting here in June and the level of detail and compassion and caring that the original property manager had was better than anything Ive ever experienced About a month or two ago the management changed and ever since then its been absolutely horrible I have submitted multiple maintenance requests ensuring me theyll be completed but never get follow up or completion of those work orders We dont like them to come in when we arent home and they arent willing to accommodate us to make sure that someone is home while theyre completing work orders The original property manager when we moved in her name was Jess and she was fantastic She would actually even call us to make sure everything went well and that everything was completed to her satisfaction If it wasnt she would make sure they came back to look at it again She was the kindest and most friendly person Ive ever come across while Renting and I wish they would have kept her with us because it has completely changed our opinion of this complex The apartments are very nice and we enjoy ours but the lack of communication when needing things fixed is just absolutely awful and something needs to be done

I typically do not write reviews unless I am upset and extremely dissatisfied with a company However I have decided that I should also start writing reviews if a company deserves onennFirst I am very hard to please I have had nine successful leases before moving here and the last two resulted in me canceling my lease altogether because I refuse to pay to live somewhere when I am not happy with the environment and the office staffnnUpon moving to Westbury the two things that have always been consistent is great customer service from the office staff and quick service resolutions from maintenance when I place a service request The staff has always been friendly noncombative and accommodating when I have an issue My packages have never been stolen smoking is not allowed on the stairways or in the breezeways they will sen pest control as often as you desire and other residents are not allowed to keep their smelly trash outside of their front door herennI just renewed my lease in May and I am happy with my decision Nowhere is perfect but because of Westburys willingness to resolve every issue expeditiously they come close I would recommend Westbury to anyone because they care about their residents happiness
