If you want a smooth easy move in process with respectful workers DO NOT MOVE HERE They pushed my move in date back several times and then when I arrived on move in day with all my stuff packed it still wasnt ready Not to mention all 3 of the ladies working in the office were horrific and rude I have lived in 6 complexes at this point and never encountered s

If you want a smooth easy move in process with respectful workers DO NOT MOVE HERE They pushed my move in date back several times and then when I arrived on move in day with all my stuff packed it still wasnt ready Not to mention all 3 of the ladies working in the office were horrific and rude I have lived in 6 complexes at this point and never encountered staff members that talk to people the way they do Finally when the apartment was ready to walk through they told me I had to turn JEA on before the walk through Shortly after another worker called me and told me they WOULD let me walk through it I get there and she starts talking to me saying we take pride in our reviews and one of them was posted today sounding like you I hadnt posted a review until now but why she felt the need to mention it was weird Finally after she tried to confront me about a review I never even wrote I was able to view my apartment IT WAS SO NASTY AND DIRTY SMELT LIKE CIGARETTES AND BLEACH AND THE CABINETS WERE FALLING APART JUST TERRIBLE Why did they push back my move in date to get it ready if it still wasnt ready on the date you pushed it back to I decided not to sign the lease and left Everyone in the office is rude GOODLUCK

This was initially a great place with great employees who I thought cared about its Residents My parents were trying to move into a 3 bedroom apt due to a death in the family they needed bigger space and after we had looked at 2 apt and agreed on one the lady whose name I forgot stated she will give us the keys at the end of the month and it should be a smoo

This was initially a great place with great employees who I thought cared about its Residents My parents were trying to move into a 3 bedroom apt due to a death in the family they needed bigger space and after we had looked at 2 apt and agreed on one the lady whose name I forgot stated she will give us the keys at the end of the month and it should be a smooth transition but she would have to inspect our apt After not showing up for 2 days we decided to call the office to find out that they gave the apt which we already agreed to move into to somebody else They apologized and stated theyll make it right and move us into another 3 bedroom for a cheaper monthly rent They said theyll do an inspection the next day and show us the apt The next day they stated that they gave the apt to somebody else that same morning This is unacceptable and it seems like this housing management is just money hungry and does not take into account or prioritize great residents who always pays rent on time They are taking full advantage of the current market which is also fine business is business but I feel like you should always treat your residents with dignity and respect Unless they make this right Im just going to help my family to a better complex where their residents are prioritynnUpdate Addison Landing did reach out and apologized to us personally and is trying their best to help us look for the unit we want and need

For the previous five years I had lived at Pinewood Pointe Apartments Any time you needed something repaired or maintained it could take up to a week to get it done The pool was in poor condition and swimming in it was unpleasant I saw the carpet was worn out and outdated when I first moved in The manager was a lady named Kim for the majority of the time I lived there She was the rudest and most disrespectful person Id ever met She was very discriminating when it came to me When I had to speak with her for any reason she wouldnt even look at me and would respond in a condescending manner not to mention the fact that she was never present during office hours Shed be in the office and the door would be locked so shed act as if she wasnt there at all To make matters worse my front door lock jammed on February 22 2021 Because the door couldnt even close and no one would be home I went to the front office to check what the quickest method to get it fixed was Maintenance would be there the next day they said Monday night I arrived home to find my front door open and unable to close It took a week for them to repair the door When I returned home from work on March 2 2021 the door was officially fixed and there was a letter on my door It was a letter requesting possession stating that we had to go by April I tried phoning corporate three times without getting a response and the front office manager told me there was nothing I could do and that I had until April to move out They sent me a ledger two months later saying I owed them about 1000 that I wouldnt be getting my deposit back and that they wouldnt rent to me again since I didnt give them enough notice 30 days They were attempting to charge me for carpet cleaning despite the fact that the carpet was worn and old when I moved in and they were meant to replace it after 5 years They also tried to charge me 650 to repaint my apartment despite the fact that I had previously spoken with the regional manager who had informed me there was no need for me to repaint it and when I requested it in writing she told me her word would have to suffice Finally I went over my lease again and saw that if we stayed for less than 18 months the cost of paint would be prorated and I stayed for 60 months All those who believe they are helpless because they lack legal status are mistaken we have a right as tenants When problems arose with the apartments I had no idea there was aid and a platform where I could protest I now recommend anyone who is experiencing difficulties to contact the Better Business Bureau BBB
