I have been a happy resident of the Conyers Housing Authority for nearly 25 years I am thrilled to know that we are under such capable leadership to transition our homes into the 21st century Director Erwin is working diligently to ensure we will have new innovative improvements to make our lives easier as we age in place The need for affordable senior housing will grow exponentially within the next few years I would encourage every resident to renovate their attitude toward change It is the only constant in life Nothing stays the same absolutely nothing Director Erwin and MsWashington are tirelessly seeking ways to make this transition as effortless and pleasant as possibles for us Allow them the courtesy of a chance to explore research and consider all the options to make the little village of Conyers shine but once again Senior Housing is now big big business Firms are competing fiercely for a piece of this growing trend When you have thousands of possible choices and companies seeking those lucrative bids great consideration has to be made to ensure the most favorable outcome Mr Edwin is the captain of this ship and feel confident he will navigate the waters with skill When you awake each morning take a minute to consider the many people that in the past year that have lost everything and some awake without even a roof over their heads Children and seniors are part of this too My Grandmother always told me two things If you wake with a roof over your head and food to eat you are a rich person Secondly she stressed strongly It is not where you live but how you live She had grown up one of 13 children on a hardscrabble piece of rocky land her Father dying at age 5 applying herself working hard eventually owning a small home on Paces Ferry Road Atlantas most prestigious zip code We all should adjust our attitudes and start living our lives as God intended Many thanks and God bless each one of youn Tom R WatsonnPS A very big thanks to all the staff and to Officer Ken Swift keeping us safe
