The apartment itself isnt awful considering what youre paying but having to deal with Mason Properties is not worth it I was told when I moved in in May that my front door would be fixed as it let in hot air during the summer and cold air during the winter causing cooling and heating bills to be outrageous Its now March and it still hasnt been done If they d 2018-03-26T01:52:39Z
The apartment itself isnt awful considering what youre paying but having to deal with Mason Properties is not worth it I was told when I moved in in May that my front door would be fixed as it let in hot air during the summer and cold air during the winter causing cooling and heating bills to be outrageous Its now March and it still hasnt been done If they do not have a show unit you are made to be part of a rotating group of units that are shown when needed and rudely asked to do so less than 12 hours beforehand Out of the last 4 showings that have been done at my apartment 3 times they have left all of my lights on after theyve left Furthermore and almost more irritating is the rental office on site is never open more ... hide ...

I am devastated by this place It is nothing but false promises The apartment I have is at Eastbury East and the apartment itself is wonderful Everything else is terrible here The hallways are disgusting Theres a freaking week old turkey in the hall Theres so many mystery stains and garbage everywhere I literally watched someone dump out their cars garbage in 2018-12-04T04:52:49Z
I am devastated by this place It is nothing but false promises The apartment I have is at Eastbury East and the apartment itself is wonderful Everything else is terrible here The hallways are disgusting Theres a freaking week old turkey in the hall Theres so many mystery stains and garbage everywhere I literally watched someone dump out their cars garbage into the parking lot and it sat there for weeksnnThe property claims that its a quiet safe family friendly place but my building constantly smells of weed and I am woken up by loud party music or my neighbors screaming at each othernnThe worst part is that Mason Properties does nothing about it Ive talked to them over and over again to see if theres any way to make things better We all have to sign contracts agreeing to be quiet and respectfulyet they just say call the cops or lie about putting a note on the door to warn people of the nothingness theyll do about the horrible things going on here But they cant even be bothered to put up a notennNow I read the reviews before moving in about the same complaints but I just assumed they were the trouble makers upset about owing money or something But Im honestly someone who never complains Im just a quiet girl who was trying to find a place to live that was in DeKalb near her job without NIU students having parties around mennThis sadly is not the right place for me It has the potential to be a really nice place but I truly think because Mason Property employees are kids and NIU students who could careless themselves its a lost cause more ... hide ...
