Getting Anawim to honor repair requests is basically impossible unless situation risks death Promised closet doors upon lease signing That was 18 months ago Still no closet doors If i was the child of a anawim worker I can assume I wouldve had closet doors by now The list is long and has been laat 3 places i lived on anawim Staff are courteous an helpful in other areas but maintenance has been chronic years Its nit an accident in my opinion My chain on ceiling fan light has never even been looked at in 6 months I have chronic vision disabilities Guess they dont think it warrants me having better lighting so i avoid hurting my self Holes in drwall w insulation seeping in via dust particles Dryer above me blows lint into my bathroom A rat is pissing stains in my ceiling tile in bathroom Its obvious the rat hangs out were the dryer heat is leaking above my ceiling tile in Bathroom So all i see is piss stains grow larger each month I complained upon move in 18 mo ago Multiple water line breaks leaking into my apt Damage to my dresser Drywall replaced but never finished Just raw untaped drywall Holes in wall behind fridge rodents use as highway My ceiling fan clicks and hums excessively when half way up in speed in bedroom so its impossible to sleep when using at speed that is effective Voids in storm windows wall mounted ac they refuse ti caulk in summers when i asked Then in winter they say its too cold to use caulk saying it wont dry Cockroach infestation cycles every 6 mo Which they play dumb for months untill controlled Capital apt has more excuses than answers on maintence They just enter my Apt at their leisure without 24 h notice When they give notice they dont show at all or they actually only give 22 hrs notice I mean everyone involved are completely impossible I have mor to say but this is enough of a example to understand my point Maintenance is a complete nightmare Maintenance asked i i woukd finish drywall repairs I said d ya if you pay me He said oh We have a guy thatll do it Its been 6 months nearly when is the drywall guy coming to finish Its oppression and aggravating the disrespect and dishonesty involved w repairs Neighbor is threatening me via text Texts given to Anawim Guess what No action in 2 months more ... hide ...

While the complex needs updating and more attention to fixing things My time here overall was good I would say 35 stars Biggest issues for me where the random people knocking on doors at weird hours and the occasional issue with roaches which while pest control was present didnt seem to work as well I had no issue with the management team or maintenance The 2022-06-20T11:28:57Z

I dont recommend living here Terrible management I lived here for two years and management changed 45 times while I was therennProsn Great locationn Nice apartmentsn Tenants are nicen Rooftop is nicen Washer and dryer in my unitnnConsn Fire alarms go off occasionally and everyone in the building has to evacuate via stairs I lived on the 13th floorn utilities is unfair they charge based on number of occupants and square footage of your apartment because they dont have individual meters so if you live here blast your ACheat because the bill is going to be split amongst all of the other tenantsn my thermostat broke the last couple months I was there and they never fixed it even though they said they would so I had no heat Jan and Feb they did offer a space heatern another tenant I met said his AC broke this was summer time and had been broken for a monthn not getting my deposit back even though I gave them 30 day notice I was moving out cleaned my apartment very thoroughly never put holes in the wall to hang things and did a final walk through with building management and I have a signed checklistn they said I had an unpaid rent balance because their system said I paid 1450 in rent even though I paid 1150 I told them to look at my rent payment history and even sent them a printout from their office saying how much rent I owed the last two months I was there I havent gotten a response yetn after moving out I kept receiving the utility bill Management said theyd take my name off but the following month I received another bill I asked them to fix it or give me contact info for the utility company I havent received a responsen windows dont openn the fire pit thing on the rooftop was never fixed while I was theren my neighbor was stuck outside once because he forgot his key fob and called building management to let him in They did not answer He eventually found management and the building maintenance guy in the office sitting around not doing anything He was not happy He ended up moving outn I was told that tenants on the lower floors hear a lot of street noisennI was never late on rent was a good tenant and never gave them trouble I blame the constant change in management for all of the cons Again I do not recommend living here I wish I could give this review negative five stars more ... hide ...

Manager is a gem always cleaning up after tenants and addressing issues in the building The tenants however are a different story Some throw trash anywhere they please and steal things out of their own community room thats meant for the enjoyment of everyone Sad

I have lived here since about 2009 Cant afford to move someplace better Supposed to be a secure building but the doors are always open Electronic locks on the doors were replaced a few months ago and have still never been turned on so the building is not as secure as it should be Have had my car broken into numerous times so had to break down and rent a g 2021-02-28T05:35:25Z
