The best three attributes of this property are its location location and location Please note this review is specific to only Unit 2 of this 15 unit property Other than its location in the French Quarter there is very little reason to stay at this property and Unit 2 should not be rented until improved It is by far the worst accommodations weve ever stayed

The best three attributes of this property are its location location and location Please note this review is specific to only Unit 2 of this 15 unit property Other than its location in the French Quarter there is very little reason to stay at this property and Unit 2 should not be rented until improved It is by far the worst accommodations weve ever stayed at and had all the charm and warmth of a midevil dungeon This property had significant shortfalls to includen1 Poorly stocked kitchen and broken oven Stove was left unplugged and we had to light the large burner with a match Coffee pot broken and wouldnt keep the contents hotn2 Master bedroom bed not properly supported on the frame resulting in a big divot in the center and sagging on the floorn3 No where to hang clothes in the master bedroom Bed lacked a headboard and there was only one nightstand Could not reach the light switch pull string so your choice was to have both fan and light on or off Without a ladder you could not turn the lights off and keep the fan on Pitifuln4 Living room furnishings were deplorable Ripped and extremely uncomfortable futon used for a couch Armchair was rickety and ready to collapse Table lamp had loose wiring and would not remain on Some electrical outlets uncovered The living room coffee table was beat up warping and uncleanably sticky All in all the most comfortable chair we sat in during this stay was our folding bag chairn5 Bathroom was marginally useful but we would recommend they reseat the commode to eliminate rocking when you sit down May want to also check the urine smelln6 Floor unfinished from the last century Chipped paint flaked off on our feet Disgustingly dirty Even with your socks on paint chips would stick to your feetn7 While the rest of the unit appeared clean notwithstanding the rustic look and shoddy furnishings we did find a monthold cake in one of the kitchen cabinets We left it there for future guests as a rolling check on the thoroughness of their cleaning procedures Future guest should check on this cake and provide updatesn8 Master bedroom television inoperable due to missing controller Called maintenance the first day yet never resolved in 6 days Wondered if it was stuck under the aforementioned sagging bed We couldnt muster the nerve to checkn9 Nonexistent WiFi resulted in no streaming access for the living room television This led to frustrating frozen black screens Thankfully we keep our stay in this unit to a minimum This would have been more miserable if the weather was bad and we had to stay in this unit any longer than necessaryn10 Lack of smoke detectorsnnSummary This unit is not ready for prime time especially at the rate that was paid Needless to say we do not recommend Unit 2 for anyone expecting a fullyfunctional clean safe and stocked accommodation that doesnt feel and smell like a dungeon
