As a former tenant of Keystone Management I would strongly recommend you seek housing with another company After being a model tenant for 25 years this company refused to give back my deposit and billed me additional charges Keystone Management has zero issues with misrepresenting the facts and will make every attempt to lie in order to retain any deposit you have made Without divulging into every aspect of falsehoods claimed I will state that this companys lack of honesty and in many aspects the root of my unresolved issue as well as others urge you to read other reviewsnnTheir paralegal based out of NH lacks decency civility and is the epitome of unprofessionalism She in fact is detrimental to conflict resolution InnnKeystone Management often alleges falsehoods such as the apartment had an odor as an excuse to con a former tenants out of hundreds of dollars with no justifiable evidence this is well documented in company reviews as well as BBB in several of their locations The company makes accusations which arent provable in an effort to retain outgoing tenants deposit and to gain further by additional chargesnnUnchallenged Keystone Management can literally use this excuse accusation on every outgoing tenant and for the most part get away with it to the tune of hundreds of dollars simply due to the hassle it takes to get a returned deposit SadnnIn reality the money is a very minor aspect I highly anticipate that taking this company to small claims court is certainly not worth the hassle for 300 or any amount of moneyHowever without a fair resolution on the part of Keystone Management combined with their outright disregard for facts and misleading claims I certainly will be exploring all options including small claims court the Maine State Attorney General along with several other avenues
