This cute quiet little midtown community is fairly new and also a good price for what youre getting They also support section 8 housing if you qualify and they are able to fit you into their ratios they have a stringent application process complete with credit and comprehensive background checks which is also a good thingnnOk lets get to the meat of my qualms with Palmer Court the managementcontrary to what youd think by talking to themmade so many mistakes during my 12 month stay and all were unapologetic Once they say something they tend to defend their actions whether they were correct or not Its a cold shoulder feeling like they do not want to admit fault in any situation My first inclination of this happened when we set a deposit on what was told to us was a DSuite only to find that we had reserved a suite with considerably less usable space in its layout and also a smaller reported square footage As I mentioned the office didnt seem to care and said we would not be allowed to transfer our lease to a desired unit even if one opened up I felt as if I had been used for my money rather than getting a quality product and experience in return It is important to note that I think the source of the confusion was the assistant manager who has now been replaced and not the manager However I have also recently received a bill from Palmer Court claiming I owed prorated rent for 15 days of which I had already terminated the lease in the way outlined by the lease agreement The bond we purchased was applied to the cost of this rent and the attached carpet cleaning fee but even though I asked for clarification on this multiple times before taking out the bond and was told with certainty that it would apply to cover the charges this was a lie The bond agency collects from you like its supposed to so I was charged 88 for the bond PLUS the charges they saw fit to give on moveout The bond option is a WASTE of money and I wouldnt suggest it or dealing with Palmer Court management if you can help itnnPlease inform me if any of this is incorrect or just me complaining about things that should be allowed to happen I am only posting this bevause I came out of the experience feeling poorly treated and a bit scammed more ... hide ...
