My father didnt like living at Villa Maria He stayed seven years because he couldnt afford a better place but he hated the food and felt the office staff were indifferent though the housekeeping staff was kind to himnnWhen they lost power for several days last year I got a call from a housekeeper not anyone in management to inform me that I needed to come pick up my father When I asked how I could get him down three flights of stairs without an elevator I was told that was my problem to figure outnnHe wasnt refunded any money for the time without heat phones power or hot meals but when he was forced to move due to his health they made sure to charge him for four extra days of all of those things because he could only give 26 days notice Never mind that they got the keys to a clean empty apartment six days before the end of the month and he hadnt even stepped foot in the paid for apartment for 53 days Nice way to treat an 89yearold man theyd made a huge profit from during those 53 days more ... hide ...

If I could give this place a 5 stars I would My boyfriend and I have been living in these apartments for a little over seven months now and it has been the seven months from hell When we were first looking into these apartments we were told our apartment would be updated We asked the day of signing our lease if we could walk through the apartment to make sure everything was good to go before we finalized and we were told that we couldnt because the apartment was not finished yet Once we got into the apartment it was not updated at all It has vinyl flooring that looks like wood that we have already had replaced once because our dishwasher leaked everywhere and the floors began peeling up The cabinets are not like how they are in pictures and are instead painted brown with a paint brush by the maintenance teamnnWithin the first three days of moving in we noticed that our apartment was infested with cockroaches I called the office and they were supposed to come spray but never showed up This happened about three more times before someone actually showed up to do the pest control This only happened because I had left a complaint with the city and filed a lawsuit against them with my personal lawyer Our ceilings also sag horribly but we were told they just look that way because they were repaired in the past The hallways are disgusting between the goose poop smeared all over the carpet or the puke that sat in our hallway for three weeks before someone cleaned it up We are currently going on day five of having no heat and have no idea when it will be fixed because communication with the office is nonexistentnnWithin the seven months we have lived here there have been two shootings in the parking lot Theres always suspicious people walking around at all hours of the night that make you not even want to walk from your car to the building Ive been followed numerous times while leaving the building at nightnnAt this point any place in Grand Rapids is better than this one Rent at your own risk youll probably regret it more ... hide ...

I think the Stuyvesant is a really cool and chill place to live at The building was renovated in 2014 by Wolverine Construction and I think they did an amazing job these apartments are really nice The managers who work in the office went out of their way for me and worked extremely hard to get me into this place as quickly as possible I have a history of bei 2021-08-06T20:55:53Z

I moved to pine Ridge 5 months ago I came to the US to start a new job so I did not have the chance to look for places so I was depending on photos and email communications My apartment was renovated and I was the first to move in to it so It was great However they renovated everything except the main door patio door and windows The main door is very old and it had sticky and gross stuff on it The same thing to the patio and windows so I had to use Clorox to remove the gross stuff Also My main door has marks that somebody tried to get into the apartment I asked the manager if it is possible to change it and I did not get get an answer other than it is expensive despite they have changed other residents main doors I had paint on my floor and I asked the manager if they would be able to clean it so they claim that they did bit I had to clean it myself The maintenance guys are nice and on time but they make a mess and dont clean it before they leave your apartment I could tell sometimes that they were in my apartment from the mess they leave During the first snow storm I had snow in my apartment from the patio door and I could not keep the apartment warm enough and the thermostat was set at 75 F However they fixed it There are tree branches behind the building that they still thinking if they will remove it or not The rent is high where you need to pay for all utilities and there internet connection but it is only for simple use such as checking emails or Fb but you cannot load a video One major downside their business hours are from 9Am to 6 PM from MonFri and they do not open Sat or Sun which makes it difficult on any type of persontoperson communication Overall I dont think that they provide a good service that would make you their loyal resident I am planning to look for another place before my lease ends Also I am just surprised how they are responding to good reviews here but they dont appreciate the criticism to improve their services more ... hide ...
