Its only been a week since moving in and I absolutely love living here Meagan the property manager was so friendly and welcoming when I first applied and when I went to go pick up my keys The maintenance staff are also very friendly and really keep on top of clearing snow and salting pathwaysnThe layout of the apartment is nice and spacious and there is plenty of natural light from the windows I love all the closet space and really enjoy the convenience of inunit laundry When I moved in the walls were freshly painted new carpeting and everything was very clean A much better experience compared to a former apartment complex I had lived innIts very quiet in the neighborhood and I feel very safe living here I love that grocery shopping is just a quick trip down Shaver Road and that the South Westnedge Dog Park is a 7 minute drive US131 isnt too far away eithernThe kitchen appliances are a little dated and there is not a microwave but everything is very clean and in great condition so Im not bothered by the aestheticnCant wait to see how beautiful it looks here in the spring and summer

I live in one of the townhouses Pros Large bright living space with dishwasher inunit laundry and suitable parking Ready and willing managementmaintenance teams Lots of green space behind property with trails and trees and such Near to everything we need on a daily basis including middlehigh schools supermarkets restaurants doctors offices ymca etcnnCons Where do I beginnn1 New construction was done very poorly I stopped by once during the construction phase and immediately saw major design and execution problems that have since played out on cue to the horror of residents flooding warping utility dysfunctions etc despite my warnings admittedly posed as questions to the construction team at the timenn2 The water going into my unit still has quite a bit of sand in it even after multiple years of use and because the faucets have been fitted with spray heads what is meant to increase pressure is inappropriate on the normal flowing faucets as it turns the water to vapor and what is meant to save water is inappropriate for the unfiltered water as it clogs the faucet with particulates My main floor bathroom faucet became unusable very early on due to the combination of sand and faucet heads and the rest of the bathroom sink faucets you can only turn on just slightly if you want any liquid water which means no hot water for washing hands single handle faucet requires you to push up and to the left which increases pressure and so you only get vapor Drains are also poorly aligned with the actual plumbing resulting in slower drainage than intended Kitchen storage is imbalanced with too much room given to cupboards but not enough drawers despite the modular customizable cabinetry Id love to have the drawer addition put into the pots and pans cabinet by the dishwasher as its just wasted space right now Lastly on the interior functionality of the space the choice for hardware in the bathrooms is impractical as it is constantly loosening or falling entirely off the walls every time I openclose my shower curtain get the towel off the bar or do anything with the toilet paper roll Get creative with your habits or learn to fix things yourself else you will be forever calling maintenance to fix your hardware and they are already overloaded with trying to fix everything else though they will never let on and are always eager to help outnn3 Outside I have to be very careful of opening the doors and windows when the sprinklers are on as they will spray directly into the house if I dont time my exit just right or forget to shut the window In the meantime its drenching the doors and splattering the siding with mud Also the doors are not well sealed and there is a large gap between the bottom of the doors and the framenn4 Communitywise it can be quite nice but certain residents seem to think the outdoors in the middle of the night is the right place and time to socialize have an argument or share their personal music listening preferences My windows may as well not be there If the windows were not new Id think they were almost as old as me and in dire need of updating Besides they get terrible condensation in winter and sleeping near or underneath any one of them is going to require an extra couple blankets to be added to your bed Even my normallydeadtotheworld kids are often awakened by laughter and loud talking or swearing and name calling or thumping and vibrating Its just a few residents but they clearly share the same lack of consideration for the community It makes me feel uncomfortable for my kids and I am hesitant to have any guests over in case something should happen So long as we make sure were locked in after sunset and before sunrise I guess itll have to donnAgain though very convenient location large bright space with excellent parking and green views Very good reasons to live here And some neighbors are really quite awesome more of them good than bad Good luck

Hi my name is Teresa I have lived here a long time first at bluebird and now on hummingbird the only big complaint that I have is that I walk my dog on a leash but then theres many others that dont feel their dog needs to be put on a leash and their dogs are pit bulls mines just a little poodle if they let us have dogs people should walk their dogs just like
