Edit as of 42422 Why are apartments getting notices of intrusion from maintenance that give timeframes that are UNDER 24 hours You cant say a notice serves as 24 hour notice if the timeframe begins in UNDER 24 hours You cant slip notices under doors at 93010am day 1 Say it starts at 730 or 830am day 2 and say that it gives 24 hour notice Not only is that no

Edit as of 42422 Why are apartments getting notices of intrusion from maintenance that give timeframes that are UNDER 24 hours You cant say a notice serves as 24 hour notice if the timeframe begins in UNDER 24 hours You cant slip notices under doors at 93010am day 1 Say it starts at 730 or 830am day 2 and say that it gives 24 hour notice Not only is that not okay its actually a fairly serious violation on managements part Whats the deal Why not just do it right and give proper notice Why would you want to shoot yourselves in the foot like that with state law Over an hour or two Why not just make it 48 hours Why not make it 1 week So you dont trip over state law and fed law in case of hud As well as not stress out elderly and or disabled tenants who were not expecting an intrusion the following day What happened to doing right by tenantsnnLike I understand that managing a high rise low income apartment complex is stressful I understand that it will often just be a lineup of problem problem stressor problem But none of that is a good reason or an excuse to treat other tenants in inconsiderate impatient harsh ways And ever since we have had the more recent changes in management this has been the posture of management and the relationship management has chosen to have with its tenants Its not okay Its important to have a professional neutral and dare i say it considering of tenants dignity and disability Why should tenants have to walk on the slightest thing out of order is a lease violation type threat On a very regular basis The management tenant relationship should never be this weird battle lines war Its sillynnEdit as of 112421 ENOUGHS ENOUGH If you are a resident at Lennox Place if you have a loved one t hat lives at Lennox Place It is time to stand up and stand together This next set of inspections is the final straw The amount of intrusions into our personal lives and our homes EASILY violates quiet living standards and laws in our city state and even federally There is no reason whatsoever that after all of the inspections we have had to endure the past months both mandatory agency ones and NOT AT ALL necessary ones from BigelowLennox management The fact they still feel a need to do pre inspections just for the main inspections out of whatever insecurity is just too much It needs to stopnnIf you care at all about your loved oneselderlydisabled peoples ability to enjoy a standard of quiet private living free from constant intrusions from companies staff exterminators and what else We know there needs to be a minimum of mandatory inspections to respect and follow law Then please make your voices heard Call the offices of Bigelow Management call Lennox Place offices send emails contact media whatever you need to do to get your voices heard Dont stop until they understand that we will only accept mandatory lawful inspections maintenance when its needed and no more I would personally demand a 2 year moratorium on all intrusions into our homes except those to be compliant with law while we come to a better deal and understanding with management Furthermore the recent history of only giving a day or two notice for inspections just goes beyond the pale We should be given 2 to 4 weeks notice at minimum if its known in advance by management that it is a necessary incoming operation There are many residents here who are elderly and disabled whom have anxiety disorders that this makes far worsennWe are done accepting this treatment Just because we are elderly or poor or disabled doesnt mean we should be okay with constant intrusions into our homes and livesnnThis message is written on behalf of other residents anonymously to prevent retaliation or reprisal from companies or management to ensure no individual gets bullied or intimidated or worse just by voicing their opinions If you read this please consider calling or emailing Lennox Place or Bigelow Management or even HUD and make your voices heard
